Baba Farid Jami'a Masjid

The small Shrine of Baba Farid Ud Din Ganj shakar made of white marble with two doors, one facing east and called the Nūrī Darwāza or 'Gate of Light', and the second facing north called Bahishtī Darwāza, or 'Gate of Paradise'. There is also a long covered corridor. Inside the tomb are two white marbled graves. One is Baba Farid's, and the other is his elder son's. These graves are always covered by sheets of cloth called chaddar (the green coloured chaddars are covered with Islamic verses), and flowers that are brought by visitors. The space inside the tomb is limited; not more than ten people can be inside at one time. Ladies are not allowed inside the tomb.

Mosque of Baba Farid's Shrine. MashAllah it is great and holly place for the Muslim to worship. I also offered prayer many time at there. People come from different countries and offered prayer at that place.

There is a historical and beautiful Mosque on the tomb of hazrat baba Farid u din RA. A lot of nimazi can offer there prayers at same time. So, i love this place.

An inspiring and spiritual experience. The place is always a bit crowded, however, the best time to visit it in the morning as one can find enough time to meditate and reflect upon things. Fridays particularly draw huge crowds which peak at Juma prayers. Some qawwal is always rendering some Sufi kalam in the courtyard.

The whole place is so much good. It is a great place for Muslims community for doing prayers according to thier islam. Muslim peoples comea from a long distance to offer their prayers. It is the best place i ever seen in pakpattan city.

Baba Farid Jamia Masjid is a so nice and a big Masjid. Baba Farid Jamia Masjid is a part of Baba Farid Shrine (Darbar). Baba Farid Jamia Masjid is a huge Masjid and hundreds of people can pray at a time in this Masjid. There is always food (langar) is available every time and anyone can eat food (langar), there is no restriction for any person. baba Farid Masjid is famous all in Pakistan but all in the world due to shrine (darbar) Hazrat Baba Farid Ud Deen ganj e Shakar (Rahmatu Ullah e Taala Aleh)

Main central land mark of pakpattan. An almost 700 old saint of chishti silsila. Baba fareed Ud Din Masood Ganj shakkar resided in this far flung area then named as Ajodhan. Then after his demise people came and finally a city was settled ,now known as pakpattan. Shrine is under control of auqaf and Baba fareed off springs. Who ate politicians known as manika. First lady of Pakistan Bushra manika is from his family. It is said that these days main spiritual decisions are made here by the consent of bawa Sahab(baba fareed) .it is also known that before elections 2018 Imran Khan visited the shrine and won the elections country wide dramatically with a major lead. Bawa Sahab is a farooqi by race. Shrine is a big complex with a huge mosque a langar khana (free food area) shrine and big courtyards. Ablution areas, toilets etc. Complex is high raised and surrounded by markets where shakkar is commonly sold as bawa sahab was fond of shakkar and once when a young child he slipped in mud and it went into his mouth but tasting shakkar. A holy place for all pained and grieved.
