National Stadium Karachi

This is the largest stadium i have ever been to, for cricket. And its good.

The enclosures are all planned in a way that i can see the game happening in the middle.

However, it can be further improved, alot. The seats for start can be improved.

The barbed wires bifurcating enclosures actually blocks the field view, which without them will be majestic.

The eatery stalls outside are nice and have good food, a bit expensive from normal but easily manageable.

Security is up to noth and police deployed there is helpful.

Excellent stadium in karachi I love it.The first ODI at the National Stadium was against West Indies on November 21, 1980, and it went down to the last ball as Gordon Greenidge drove Imran imperiously to the cover boundary with three needed. It has been a far less successful limited-overs venue, with defeats outnumbering victories. In fact, in a little under five years from the start of 1996, Pakistan failed to win on the ground. It also staged a quarter-final match in the 1996-97 World Cup.

Was a good experience as I saw the National Stadium for the first time while i appeared for the entry test by Saylani Welfare.

I went to see PSL final b/w Quetta and Peshawar, Quetta won the Title. I had wonderful experience because it was my first time I went to see the Live Match in Stadium. 🏟😊

The National Stadium is a fantastic destination that every cricket enthusiast should visit at least once. The atmosphere is incredible, and my personal experience was truly unforgettable. The general parking was located at China Ground for HBL PSL 8 matches which is located opposite the stadium. Additionally, a shuttle service was available to take visitors from the parking area to the respective gates. The security arrangements were impressive, and the seating area was well-maintained and spotless. The stands were beautiful and provided ample fresh air, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

While the National Bank Cricket Arena is a great cricket stadium, I was disappointed with the seating arrangements. Some areas of the stadium have cramped and uncomfortable seats, which can be a hindrance to the overall experience."

Despite the overall quality of the stadium, there may be issues with certain aspects of the seating arrangements. It's important to consider all aspects of a facility when evaluating its overall quality.

Good lighting and overall ground conditions but the arrangements made for the crowd are not enough but are justified as the tickets are also cheap.
Overall Great place, every cricket lover should at least one time experience for them selves the ambiance of the National stadium.

Visited for a live Match between Pakistan and New Zealand teams. Though Pak has already won the series but wanted to take my daughter to see a live match and Pakistani cricketers.

I was there to watch Pak Vs NZ cricket match. Unfortunately we lost the game but liked this stadium. As compared to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium National Stadium Karachi is more developed and organized. Watching cricket match here is more fun. Energy of crowd here was really amazing. I would love to watch more matches here.

Over all good, but need some arrangements for cleaning of stands. Renovation work of stadium is good. I want to give a suggestion that you can't watch cricket clearly from the bottom rows of sittings, that's why you should sit on upper rows of stairs.

What a wonderful day at the stadium.
We went to see a PSL eliminator game between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United.
Such a great atmosphere there. The venue is great, the pitch is beautiful and the organisers have done a wonderful job of making the venue safe and sound.

I congratulate the Pakistan cricket board, government and the ground staff in making all the games possible in Pakistan.

And many many thanks to all the foreign players to trust Pakistan authorities and for playing for their respective teams.

Total capacity of Karachi National Stadium is about more than 32,200 persons. National Stadium Karachi is always my 1st priority to watch cricket matches among other in Punjab, seating arrangements are very comfortable and the views are awesome especially if you choose Fazal Mahmood or Javeed MianDad enclosure.

The stadium lacks a roof but it didn't hamper our enjoyment. The experience was superb. Pakistan vs west indies. Pakistan won😀.
The bathrooms were newly renovated and quite clean.

Fantastic place to watch exclusive matches if you choose the right enclosure. Amazing atmosphere with joyful fans all around!

The Pakistani cricket team have a remarkable Test record at the ground, having only lost twice in 40 Test matches (vs. England, December 2000–01, and South Africa, October 2007–08). The stadium has witnessed several memorable moments, such as Viv Richards 181 against Sri Lanka at the 1987 Cricket World Cup, Mohammad Yousuf's record ninth century of the year to break Viv Richards' record of most runs in a calendar year, and Kamran Akmal's famous century against India on a very difficult pitch in 2006, after Pakistan had collapsed to 39 for 6, as part of a memorable come-from-behind victory.

History
Location of National Stadium in Karachi

The stadium was established in April 1955. At that time, Karachi was the capital of Pakistan, but the only cricket ground was the one at the Karachi Gymkhana which had limited seating capacity. A plan was formulated to develop a new stadium for which a plot of land measuring 174.5 acres was acquired by the Pakistan Public Works Department through the Commissioner of Karachi.After which under the guidance of Mr. Kafiluddin Ahmed, a senior civil engineer from East Pakistan, the stadium was built which became Karachi's fifth and Pakistan's 11th first-class ground.

The inaugural first-class match was played at NSK between Pakistan and India on 20–24 April 1955, and it became a fortress of Pakistan cricket.In 34 Tests between that first match and December 2000, Pakistan won 17 and were never beaten. Their only Test defeat on the ground came in the gloom against England in 2000–01.

An excellent cricket stadium. Though it was in aberrant condition two years back, but now it's really a beautiful cricket arena with almost all required facilities. I enjoyed Quetta vs Peshawar thrilling match today. Security & all arrangements were superbs. Wish to watch main teams like Australia, England, South Africa playing here.
