Karoonjhar Mountains

It took us about 3 hours to climb and come back to the base. Water and cold drinks were available everywhere. The view on top was really awesome.
Something to keep in mind is that bring electrolytes with you as when it becomes hot it becomes unbearable.

Allah has blessed sindh province with natural beauties. And this place is one of the Beauty of Sindh. Nagarparkar. Wow, what beautiful scenes i captured in the area. It's just amazing!! I have no words to express.
The government has developed roads, but there is still alot of work to do. This has the potential to turn as most attractive tourist destination.

Underrated and one of beautiful places in Sindh. It’s highly recommended to visit this place during moon-soon rains. A few guest houses/cartages are in region. One day stay is enough to visit all places

Its longest mountain range in sindh, its heritage of sindh it has its own history, history of jeinism, beautiful place to visit, mountains touching sky water falls lakes and foggy on the top makes more beautiful this place, rainy days and winter are good time to visit this place.

I went to Karoonjhar Mountains today 4 Feb 2024..it was great experience as the climate was little warm but there was cold wind.. really loved the silence in the mountains variety of birds are there.. peacock in abundance but other birds are also there .. but beware bcz I found snakes traces in rocks.. spent around 3 hours there so clean air to breathe.. the distance is not very much from Nagarparkar town..it takes around 15 minutes drive to reach at maximum possible height but the hiking is so good .. really loved that

Karoonjhar mountains are in 16 miles range of big and small sand- hills that surrounded Nangarparker town. It is popular for its old jain temple, granite diposits, and its rare fauna and flora. Its highest peak is 1000 feet above the sea level and known as " Tarwat" peak. Apart from the karoonjhar, there are some individual hills that fall within 30 kilometers of the mountain range.of these, choorio,Rampur, Dootar and sukhpur hills are not unworthy.It is strange that these hills have never be mentioned in any book of history or trvelogues of thar.

The most beautiful place I have ever visited in sindh. It's really different and you can not feel it's part of the sindh... 😅

Karoonjhar Mountains are located in south eastern edge of the Tharparkar district in Sindh, Pakistan
I have visited once Time karoonjhar on 14 August (independence day)
This place is famous for old worship places of every religions , peacock's and incident temples etc.
Every year in raining season thousands of tourist come to visit this place
Tourist came from whole Pakistan.
I recommend everybody you visited once Time
Really this karoonjhar Mountains is best place for tourist trap.

This mountain system is the remains of primary mountains of the world. Beautiful granite can be seen easily. Must visit place during monsoon season. The area was a center of Jainism, a lot of jain temples can be seen there. Good luck.

I think only rain season August to September enjoyed in karoonjhar mountains

We love this place because it is natural beauty of Tharparkar District. These mountains are symbol of inhabitants of Nagarparkar and neàr by people, they enjoy these beautiful natural mountain 🌄

Karoonjhar mountains are located in Nagarparkar near the district Tharparkar on the northern edge of the Rann of Kutch. They mostly consist of granite rock and are likely an extension of the Aravalli Range of India. The Aravalli range belongs to Archaen period, which makes it one of the oldest rock systems. Specialists have put the time period of the formation of these rocks at between 3.5 and 5 billion years ago.
