Jarogo Waterfall Swat Valley

Jarogo Waterfall and Meadows in Swat are among the most stunning destinations, boasting breathtaking views. The locals are incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The trek, while not too intense, adds an adventurous touch to your journey. Both places can be explored in a single day.

You have two trek options – one leading straight to the meadows and the other to both the waterfall and meadow. I personally recommend the waterfall route; enjoy the cascade first, then head to the meadows. The hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your stamina.

While there are no hotels, locals have created cozy huts. You can choose to stay in them or, for a more personalized experience, bring your own tents.

Lastly, cherish nature, show it respect, and leave it cleaner than you found it

The wonderful place I visited. I had a lot of fun with my cousins. I recommend this place to everyone please come here once in your life.

30 minutes walk/climb to the water fall. There are green meadows after the waterfall if you اور good at climbing as way is a bit steep.

During the walk you have to cross the water a few times hence stepping on stones to get across. You may get wet in some places.
In rain way would be slippery as well.

45 minutes walk if with kids and more if with family.

Park the car near the bridge where there is a field and a cricket pitch. You can take car further another 2 minutes butt turning around is hard and is not worth it.
Shop is there for snacks etc, boiled eggs and tea with kids above the shop area.

Driving is almost on single road after Biha hence care needs to be taken. At times there can be rock/mud slides.

Water is clean and there are enough deep areas on the way where you may want to swim.

Jarogo waterfall is one of my best tourist place across all pakistan. It’s very beautiful and enjoyable spot for tourists. I suggest everyone to visit must with your friends and family.

There is no road for vehicles or motor cycle at some point, after It takes 40 to 45 minutes of walk to reach the waterfall. Parking is available, we paid Rs. 50 for Bike.

Awesome place, the waterfall is 400 ft high. And is almost 1 hour hike from the last stop. You will need 4 x4 for a good travel. Then to travel to top after the waterfall a hike of 2 hours in the steep hills. You won't regret it. Go prepared for camping.
The weather is chilling even in May. Warm clothes and precaution for night stay recommend.

Pakistan's highest waterfall..It is about 30km drive from Matta Swat where you park your vehicle and further 1 hour treking..Road is paved throughout and any vehicle can go there..Hiking is of moderate level and you pass through beautiful forest and water streams..It is a beautiful place..The pressure of falling water is so much that you can't stand near it for longtime..Few people were seen hiking on to the mountain and reaching the spot feom where water was coming..Enjoy the beauty of nature but please don't litter the place

It's probably the highest waterfall in Pakistan ever. The total height is around 120 meters. The way towards the waterfall is difficult. you will have to do hiking for about 2 hours, but once you reach the destination, you will enjoy alot. The water is super cold. Above the waterfall, there are lush green Meadows which can be used for camping in the night. I will not advise cooking here instead you should bring ready to eat food.

The best place for one day trip and for short hike in swat. Total of 30 min hike to waterfall from road.

A hidden paradise. A wonder of the world. No words can describe the beauty of the waterfall. This water fall is the highest elevated and falling water fall pf Pakistan. This place is beauty. Loved and enjoyed the place.

Jarogo abshar is natural and breathtaking place it is best location for a day tour with friends and family. beautiful scenery with lush green mountains and gorge valley between the green mountains.

Jarogo abshar is a Waterfall lacated in Swat valley tehsil Matta, From Matta bazar it take 1 hour to reach the Waterfall and 40 mint of Hiking. And there is also car parking area on road side.and no need of 4X4 viechle every car can easily go to to the parking location. it also known is the highest Waterfall in Pakistan.

And there is no tent or hotel availible on jarogo waterfall location. Take dry fruit or other food material fom Matta bazar or Biha chock because their is no shop availible on jarogo abshar.

Jarogo valley waterfall is a fulfilling destination for those who love natural alpine forests and greenary.
The waterfall itself is highest of swat valley Pakistan. On further hiking of 40 mins you will reach the jarogo meadows which is a piece of paradise as lush green meadows are surrounded by towering mountains.

For reaching there hire a car from swat mingora to Gwalerai chowak (1h 30mint drive)
Take food , fruit etc here then go far fazal banda after fazal banda road is under construction so be careful if u love ur car .
After 30 mint u will reach jarogo car park
Park ur car there and go further fo hiking about 1h .
It is not explore that much so u will see majority of local traveler there.In summer u must take shower still remember that feeling .
For food lover i will recommend this place specially for BBQ 🍗
For camping go further hike on mountain rock round about 30 mint u will see full of green grass meadow stay your night there with bonfire 🔥 and must wakeup early for magnificent view

It was wonderful place to visit. Pakistan's Highest Waterfall. Very beautiful more then photos. It hardly takes any where between 1-2 hours from city of Mingora to reach jarogo waterfall parking after that its 30-45 minutes hike from parking to actual waterfall spot. It's worthy to visit it and fully recommended.
