Cheap commodities

Fresh fish, vegetables, chicken, pork, and eggs in abundance. Fruit as well, especially bananas (of course), and mangoes take over the area at harvest time. We are here every week. Nice vendors. Wonderful coconut cream made fresh while-you-wait. Parking is an issue. There are only a dozen spots in front of the market. Half of them are taken by the vendors. Traffic Enforcers help where they can, but parking on D. Noriel Street is problematic in anything bigger than a tricycle.

I love this market. There is no refrigeration. The counterweight is everything must be fresh or it doesn't sell. All local / Pinoy foods, gulay, meat, fish, etc., at fair prices from local vendors. Go early -- like 7a -- if you want fresh kingfish or tuna.

This market would close too early. Sometimes, vegetables are not restocked. Most are wilted and overpriced. Galingan na lang sa pagpili ng tindahan.

PS some market goers do not follow the Pasukan (Entrance) and Labasan (Exit) markers in the afternoon.
