Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays have the most vendors and the most shoppers as well. Mornings, of course, are far busier than afternoons, but that's when everything is fresh and the weather is agreeable. Excellent fresh veggies year-round, although the price varies with demand. Last year sebuyas (onions) went from p60 per kg to 300, for example. (Prices at WalterMart went up to p500 / kg though!). We have bought beautifully fresh Yellowfin Tuna, pork, galonggong, chickens, Kingfish, and every vegetable grown in PH. Excellent bananas too, with other fruits available though freshness and price can vary. I love having this Palengke within an easy drive. The vendors are all kind and helpful. Go early for best selection; go in the afternoon for best parking.
