Sabtang Lighthouse

This where we stayed during our visit in Batanes last year. The place is so nice and I love the breeze kissing my body. The lighthouse itself is picturesque and a romantic place for marriage proposal. Just like one of the photos I've taken here during during my stayed capturing two love birds with the guy on his knee proposing to his partner.

To visit this place, you have to book their accommodation which is very affordable.

So majestic. With all the rolling hills and breataking views. Fresh air friendly people to top it all off. Truly an amazing experience.

We stayed with Nanay Adela's Homestay which is the house below the Lighthouse.

A great spot to do stargazing and take photos of it. You just want to have a good timing for a clear sky 😉

Too bad the Lighthouse is already on private property so you can’t get close to it. But we did see organized tour vans coming in. There is a spot outside you can use as a vantage point for taking pictures.

The lighthouse stands on a cliff overlooking Sabtang Port. We were not able to go near it but it was visible from the restaurant where we had lunch - The Pananayan.
