Depth Pool is one of a kind art of creation. If you like adventure, you need to see this. It's included in my road trip's list. The rock formations are instagrammable. Nearby, you may also see Mary Hill Youth Camp and lots of resorts. The terrain going to these places are not for novice drivers. Some of the roads are not fully developed and it is a very long winding way from our place. You need to bring your packed meals, water, coffee, aqua shoes and fill up your gas tank especially if you only plan to visit and no plan to stay for the night.

It is one of the coolest place within the area of Zambales! The place is breath taking and definitely wows everyone who visits the place. A relaxing place where you can enjoy the view of ocean and dive in it.
We may not even see the depth pool due to high tide when we were there but, it really made our time relaxed after hours if cycling to this place.
Really a must visit place!!

This place is very awesome. Cant find the word to describe but its just really awesome place.
Best place to relax, hearing the sound of the waves.
Plus its very affordable, accommodation in the place are very good - a must visit is the Death pool or Depth Pool, its really scary specially if its high tide, but when its low tide the view is really amazing, you can literally dive on the mini pool. Its a highly recommended place to visit with friends and family. You will definitely enjoy the place.
Visited the place like 3x already and I still wanted to come back. :)

It’s an awesome place to visit to see limestone rock formations and to be up close and feel the waves spray as it crashes on the rocks. We accessed the place through Mary Hill where there’s a p100 per vehicle entrance fee and p50 per vehicle parking fee. There is just a short walk going down to the Depth (Death) Pools. There was no one else around when we went there, probably because it was noon and high tide and also because we were prohibited from swimming as there is an Amihan.

My kids still enjoyed it as we explored the rock formations and we were able to splash in the water on the far left side where there is a beach and the waves are not crashing on rocks.

Super awesome view!

A unique place featuring several holes on rocks where you can dip for a while. Its more fun during high tide because you will be battling the incoming waves.
Although there is not much space to swim since the beach area is usually crowded with boats on ordinary day--- a quick dive below will provide you amazing sea-bottom rocky view with lots of fishes.
The sunset view here is amazing too!
Will surely visit here again sometimes.

Death Pool or Depth Pool for some.
The place is awesome, no other word can describe it. Went there in the morning of this month (December) and this is how it looked like (see video).

Safety tip: Make sure you know the best time of the day to visit the place, best to go at low tide for safety reasons. Also, better if you go there with a local esp if waves are high and violent. They would know when it is safe to dip or not. With that kind of wave and wind in the video, it is surely NOT advisable to get in. Other days, when the weather is peaceful, maybe yes.

We just took lots of beautiful photos and played in those tiny water spouts around and took a dip on the other side of the rocks (just below the church) where it was safer!❤

Others: there's a minimal entrance fee, different rates for diff types of vehicles. But it is actually just a short walk from entrance. They dont have parking area tho.

(I took a video of this group of people I dont know, to show relative size of pool vs people, let me know if i should take it down).

When we visit Dasol, we rented a boat for island hopping to Colibra island. Mamang bangkero took us to Cabongaoan's death pool first. You can also reach this by land, 30 to 1 hour trekking i think. Best to visit during low tides so you can appreciate the tidal pools/ depth pools and of course enjoy dipping. Aside from the death pool there are also mini tidal pools on the area. Overall review, super nice 👍👍👍

What a nice and breath taking place I've ever seen. The best! though it's high tide but still the best! 🤣 Just a few reminder if you're visiting death pool make sure to come early like 6:00 AM when it's low tide so it safer to swim and also wear durable slippers for the spiky rocks. Enjoy! 😊 Oopps, I recommend to visit the place weekdays if you wanted to solo the place for picture taking. Etc.

This place is breathtaking. Though going here needs to trek a bit of a rocky trail but reaching Death/Depth Pool is all worth the effort! Just a reminder, please wear slippers or as much as possible AQUA SHOES for easy and safe trekking of the rocky trail to the Death Pool. I am glad that we had the chance to see and experience this awesome place located at the west borderline of the island of Luzon. A quiet place to relax and reflect on life. ❤

Don't be afraid of the name Death pool because this is a very thrilling place to go to. The name of this pool is really Depth pool because it is deep. For the thrill lovers, this is for you. Under the pool, there are connecting tunnels that you can dive even without oxygen tanks just your goggles. Even the smaller pool is connected to the death pool itself in an underwater tunnel. The pool may look shallow during low tide because the water is clear but mind you it's not. You can also watch the sunset from here. Enjoy swimming😘

A frightening but good place to visit. Although the pool is fairly small, so you have to wait in turns with others for a dip. Best time to go would be the early morning or late in the afternoon. Low tide is the best, as you can really take a dip in the middle without having to worry about waves bitting you. Pool water level will just rise and fall naturally.
