I love Hound Haven!

This has been our second yearly volunteer event visit and I’m so happy to be an active part of it.

The place is around 75 to 90 minutes away from our Taguig office, but all the travel is worth it once we get to see how excited and lively the dogs were when they saw us arriving. It’s as if we’re their actual furparents!

We got to see all the retired military service dogs mostly German Shepherds and Belgian Malinoises, but there’s also Buddy the aged Black Labrador Retriever.
There are also the lively and playful Aspins, with Sora leading the highest energy level in playfulness.

We brought in all the donations given by our company employees like dog food, play toys tether bones, dog treats. The Volunteer Network also donated a sum to the Hound Haven Foundation for them to use in the maintenance and care for our beloved retired service dogs I call Veteran Military Dogs. We also engaged in activities such as cleaning the kennels, bathing the dogs, grooming and playing with them. We also constructed play exercise and recreation courses for the dogs to enjoy.

Personally, for me the experience is not just heartwarming but also eye-opening. We have much to still do to give our retired veteran dogs to enjoy their remaining retirement years.

So if you’re a dog lover and you’re thinking of which advocacy to engage in, this is it! Come visit the place.

Bring extra clothes because you’ll definitely need to change after having lots of play fun with the dogs.

I heart Hound Haven!

The whole place deserves the name haven. It was a haven for the dogs staying at the shelter as well as for other animal lovers. It was a place to spend heavenly time with the shelter's habituating retired service dogs.

The place is clean and tidy.
Resident dogs are well taken care off and they look happy.

I would love to adopt one dog po. They deserve to have a home family. For the long service they did. I salute this dog Freedom for them👍🏼☺

I love animals, I love the dog's there in hound heaven, thank you so much for taking care of them, for helping them.

The place was nice and relaxing. Stress free specially during interaction with other dogs.

Great people to love and take care of our K9 friends.

Napanood ko ito sa i-witness,.lahat ng retired dog hirap makahanap ng mag aalaga sa kanila after 8year of working,being a soldier dog,.i give respect and hopefully makapag alaga ako ng asong nagbigay serbisyo sa ating bayan,.bow na bow po ako sa mga ating soldier dog,.pero dahil wala po akong kakayanan,sana sa mensahe ko pong ito,mapakalat at mapagbigyan ang mga soldier dog ng maayos at magandang pamilya na mag aaruga sa kanila..para nga pala sa hound haven philippine
madami po pala kayong talentadong aso na retired,bkt hnd nyo gawing attraction ang place nyo para mas marami makaappriciate,sa totoo lang kung hnd dahil sa i-witness ni kara david,hnd po namin malalaman yan..ang dami na po palang nagsakripisyong aso para sa ating bayan,why dont we give back favor for them..ang kaylangan lang naman nila is maappriciate at tututok at mag mamahal sa kanila,.kung pagmamahal lang din pag uusapan,hnd mauubusan ang mundo para sa kanila,ang daming tao na pwd magmahal sa kanila,hnd lang local kundi pati din taga ibang bansa,.pag isipan nyo din sana.tnx

Napanood ko ito sa I witness today gusto ko po mag adopt ng dog....naiiyak ako dhil naalala ko mga aso namin dati na namatay sa sobra tanda na nila para din sila tao...nagtatampo rin sila at sabik sila sa pagmamahal at ang aso minsan pag malungkot ka sila ang nagcocomfort sa atin....I love dog so much... Paano po mag adopt...willing po kami...gusto nmin pumunta dyan....
