This is one of my favorite areas to drive in Bicol. The place is so serene and calm. There are not many cars in the area. If you're a nature lover, you will definitely love this place. The kids are free while the fee for the adults are P30 each.

When you get there and pass by you feel the peacefulness because of its tall, big and old trees. This makes the place fresh because it is the so called reserved natural park in the hearth of bicol region. thats why some travelers stopped to feel the ambiance of the nature.

It's a beautiful park, full of indigenous life, preserving the natural legacy of the region. Don't expect a Swiss Alps experience. You need to pay attention to the details to see the wonder of this place. Take your time and you will be rewarded.

Beautiful landscape. You can drive along AH26 and enjoy. As a European I regret that there are no hiking trails to discover this landscape. The official entrance is at 13°55'16.1"N 122°56'34.7"E and poorly advertised so you can miss it. They want 500 pesos from foreigners which is not fair. Due to heavy rain I decided not to go. Anyone knows what you get for the entrance fee?

I always pass by this area whenever I go to my Saturday classes. You have to be very careful, it has a lot of curves, cliffs and slopes. Not advisable to speed a lot.

Tip: turn your headlight high at night (and lower when a vehicle from the other lane is coming) since not all motorcycles or tricycles make it a habit to check their back/tail lights. You'd be surprised by a lot of two-wheel vehicle drivers making appearances like an apparition.

Tip: when you see the roadside stalls, do buy something from them. Their pomelos (sweet) are sold at Php 100-150/3pcs. Quite a bargain if I say so myself. Sometimes they even sell star apples, guyabanos, freshly harvested corns, chicos...
