Worth the visit !! Our guide, Kuya Romeo was very informative with enough humor so we didn't get bored. The mangrove area was serene and calming. We saw several animals like snake, monitor lizard and Phillipine long tailed macaque. The river trip was smooth and he even sang an original song composed by the locals about the preservation and conservation of the mangroves.

I highly recommend this side trip for every tourist who want to visit Puerto Princesa, Palawan.

Next to the underground river is a mangrove Forest by an organization. it is an endangered area it has many trees and it is beautiful to say the least.

It also has animals like monkey, and snakes but that's fine since they can't swim but overall a great place to look at nature's beautiful wonders.

I really loved this little tour of the mangrove forest. Very calm and relaxing just slowly going through it in a canoe, having to be quiet not to disturb the animals. Very beautiful indeed and getting to see a real wild python just sleeping in a tree was amazing. Also some mangrove snakes was seen.

The paddle boat ride around the Sabang Mangrove forest will make you appreciate and love nature more. Information and details about how important is preserving this ecosystem were given by the tour guide and boatman.

Our tour guide was very friendly and packed with information about the mangroves. If you love nature this is definately worth doing. Especially if you have spare time before going to the underground river.

Well preserved mangrove forest and helpful community who are good stewards of nature. I'm inspired by the people of this community wherein they are educated well about the natural habitat of the creatures in their area. They are concerned in the welfare of the mangroves and the animals living there. Their motto is, the nature protects us from natural disaster, therefore we, as stewards of the creation of God, must also protect the nature.

Depending on the tour guide, this is OK! We did see some monkeys and a few snakes on the way, but rare apparently. It was just something to do to kill time.

Must try sidetrip while paperworks for underground river tour is being processed. Just 350 per pax. Bring off lotion for mosquitoes. They have off there for sale as well for 20 pesos.
