Gusto Gelato + Bistro

I've dined here for a few evenings and the food has been excellent each and every time. Similarly the drinks are all served at a high standard and a very reasonable price. The servers are all very friendly and accomodating and the kitchen prepares the food very quickly. As for the atmosphere it is very relaxing and semi formal. The place is spotless. I would very much recommend dining here and I would recommend the beef brisket burger and the dirty martini.

There is parking near the outside of the restaurant down a small off street making it very accessible.

If you wish to take the food out, takeaways are accommodated and you can ask for particular things removed from the dishes to tailor your tastebuds. 10/10 would recommend.

Gusto: The Restaurant for Cashless Travelers
We had trouble finding a restaurant that accepted credit cards. Luckily, we found Gusto, a small restaurant located in the center of El Nido.
Positives:
* The restaurant accepts credit cards, which is rare in the Philippines. (And without surcharges)
* The service was good. The waitresses were friendly and attentive.
* The food was good. The lasagna I ordered was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to replace the salad with fries, which was much appreciated.
Areas for improvement:
* The wine list could be improved by adding more details about the wines offered.
Conclusion:
We had a good time at Gusto. We highly recommend this restaurant to all travelers. The food is good, the service is friendly, and you can get work done.

If you want a little change from Filipino cuisine, here they offer really nice burgers, pasta and ice cream.

During my stay I had a chicken burger with fries and it was cooked beautifully!

Also air con and fast WiFi, ideal place to eat lunch and catch up on work/research while on holiday.

We’ve been back here a few times as it’s probably one of the best spots in El Nido for breakfast! We still need to sample the lunch menu but can only assume it’s just as good. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming too! If you’re in El Nido you have to try here!

The Food was delicious. Ariane is very nice, friendly and helpful. Lasagne and gelato were delicious. If you are coming to El Nido you need to eat here.

Had the best pasta in town!! Really delicious, and same goes for the ice cream and the crepes too! Definitely recommended!

We were looking for a restaurant, after several attempts. We had no more cash on us. After 3 attempts to withdraw cash from ATMs that didn't work or didn't have any notes, we started looking for a restaurant that accepts Visa and Mastercard.
We both ordered the lasagne.

* Positive Aspects :
a) The restaurant accepts Visa and Mastercard at no extra charge. (Quite rare in El Nido)
b) Quality of welcome in the restaurant.
c) Simple and minimalist decoration.
d) Air conditioning and fan on the floor.
e) Bright restaurant in a good location.
f) The lasagne was very good.

* Areas for Improvement :
The red wine is too cold, an investment in an electric wine cellar is needed.

* Suggestions for the Business/Establishment :
The wine list could be improved.

Very good overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant behind the ice cream shop is a hidden gem. You have to look for it but it is our favourite El Nido eatery, breakfast lunch or dinner. It's also air-conditioned and takes credit cards.

Sooo very very good ice-cream ❤❤❤ I had salted caramel and coffee beans. If the cups weren't so big, I would have bought pistachios also, but the portions is too generous with only 2 cups❤❤❤

What a place!

The beef burger was so tasty, the home made French fries were perfectly salted and fried, and the additional toppings just made the experience complete!

We also tried out the gelato for dessert, and we agreed: This was definitely the best ice cream in El Nido.

That's by far the best food in elnido. Thr breakfast is outstanding, ORDER THE CROQUE MADAME, the lunch and the dinner was amazing as well (our superstar is the crispy skin fish filet 🤩, but we've had almost everything Pescaterian on the menu, the carbonara, the crêpe, the ice cream and they are wow). The staff are super professional and friendly, the owners are very caring and you will often met them around. Oh! I almost forgot the wine, the french wine is so adorable and tasty, it will take you to Paris from the first sip. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Was in El Nido for 13 days and must of had gusto for breakfast on 9 occasions. The croque Madame and strawberry yogurt shake is a dream combo. Easily the best breakfast spot on the island and possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had. We left in a rush so didn’t get a chance to say bye to them, but cheers for the multiple days of grub. 😃

Pricey but great try …. Taste so yummy and so creamy. 😘🥰❤ i loved it and also their coffee. More power Gusto Gelato. Have a try and feel refreshed after a whole day of island tour.

Best ice cream you can find in El Nido.
It was recommended to me by the driver of Charlie’s El Nido and I was not disappointed. With 200 php you will have a good try and for sure you will buy more. They also sell pancakes, waffles, coffee, cups and so more. Highly recommended. 🔥❤

Great spot for breakfast and good coffee

Love how the name means like in both Italian and Tagalog. Gelato was the best and a good way to conquer the heat. Love it!

Food excellent. A little bit hot inside.

Walking around El Nido your sweet tooth will hit you and when it does you have to stop at this Gelato shop. The cookies and cream is my favorite as it’s not the traditional Oreo cookie most are accustomed too.

The staff is friendly and the place is clean with a modern look. I highly recommend.
