Kangcaramel Cave

My favourite place in Bohol! But definitely not for everyone, only if you’re adventurous enough to be surrounded by thousands of bats, scorpio spiders, cockroaches and even couple tarantulas. 🕷🪳🦇🐸

Thats was a unique experience! If you not afraid of tons of bats and cockroaches go for it!
If u scared still go there try Tour best the guide guy its super nice and he ll show you a Save path❤😊

great place hidden in the mountains, I found it by accident. beautiful cave with lots of creatures. You absolutely have to come here, nice people will show you everything and at the end you have to drink freshly made dragon fruit juice. I recommend

For the first time in my life I was in a cave where so many creatures live. It was an amazing experience because there were so many animals! I recommend it to anyone who likes a slightly less touristy places, where you can feel a slight thrill of adventure. The guide was also incredibly open and nice person. It was immediately obvious that he enjoys his job

The caves are full of bats and some big spiders (they stay away). Really cool caves and rock formations. Sometimes there are snakes the guide will point out, we didn't see any. Recommend visiting if in the area, it's not very big but really interesting.

Best cave I have seen during my holiday in Philippines.
Me and my husband actually went to this place just by accident.
When we heading to looking for waterfall, I seen a sign that mention about cave.
So, because we love to travel by scooter, so we decide to check how's the cave..
The road to the cave not good road, need really careful during riding, as the road really dangerous..
But after that, we found this beautiful cave, and I think it's worth after everything..
The guide was so friendly.
She is explaining everything about the cave, she even happy to taking a photo for us.
Not only cave, this place surrounded by dragon fruit farm and flowers farm.
The guide will take you also the pigeon farm (unique pigeon).
During walking around to see some farm, you can order dragon fruit juice and will be ready after finish walk around..

Really recommend for you guys who looking for amazing place after spend time in Panglao..

The cave itself is nice, but not extraordinary. What is very impressive are the bats, small and big and soooo many! There are also some cave scorpions (not dangerous). Absolutely not touristic place, the guide was very friendly and told me interesting facts.

Not known to many (even the locals), the Kangkaramel Cave in Baklayon, Bohol, is a great site to visit and a sight to behold. 💚

Just enough time to be inside a bat cave. Entrance fee is P150. Tip for the tour guide. Let your taste buds enjoy the dragon fruit shake (P150).

This is a great excursion , the cave is easy to get to its big Open and has well maintained trails , a hiding place for locals from the Japanese during WW2

DO NOT GO HERE!! The whole place is ABANDONED and there was a crazy guy in the cave with weapons. My boyfriend and I went here a few weeks ago and thought we would take a look. We proceeded to go in the mouth of the cave where a guy was on drugs or something chanting the devils name. We called the police but I thought I’d just let any travelers know to be aware and safe!

Surprisingly good experience very large cave with interesting guide , there for over 1 hour and only people there

This cave is cool especially the part that you need to crawl. Pretty cool.

Absolutely a great experience. I highly recommend you hire a tricycle driver to bring you to the Chocolat Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary, Lunch at Loboc and this cave with bats. Should cost you 2000 php for the tour and entry fees to the places. Kangcaramel cave is 150 php entrance and they have delicious Dragonfruit shakes! The cave has 1000 bats and outside is a nice garden where you can relax and drink cold shakes. This visit was one of the highlights of my Philippines trip.

The cave was super and the guide was the best, definitely worth the stop! It also has an amazing up and coming resort with special touches.

Very good guide who knows the story of the cave and the animals in it. He also knows the best angles for photographs.

I love our experience there. It was really an adventure. The guides are also very nice people. They will provide you with safety hat, clean new pair of socks and boots.

A fascinating place to visit. If you enjoy caves and various types of arachnids (whip spiders & tarantula), bats and reptiles this is a good place to go.
Do also try the dragonfruit shake :-)

Amazing place. Not known yet, although the infrastructure is ready: the road is easy and there is a nice bar next to it.

Th cave is huge and as of January 2023 we were basically the only visitor visitors of the day.

The cave is full of millions bats, scorpions (non venomous), few tarantula (venomous 😬). It's beautiful and the guide will show you a few places where you can crowl to access annex chambers.

The best !
