The interior of the church is amazing. Local guide said bricks used for building the church are maid of corals and powderized egg shells. There's also a museum on the 2nd floor of the church unfortunately my phone got shutdown. You just need to pay extra 100 pesos for you to be able to go upstairs.

Never been inside because it was closed when we went there. But still so beautiful outside.

Beautiful church from 1500’s in process of a restoration. Old world charm. But I f you want to see the inside bring your pants 👖 because there’s a dress code.

Seeing the one of the oldest church in philippines makes me eager to study about history HAHA ! but it was amazing trip that before our countryside tour began we firat visited this chuch Baclayon Church but some says that it will remain close because of the issues encountered before. So here we are blessed even we cant see whats inside , just like God we cant see him but we Believe in Him .

This museum is located one the second floor by the entrance of the 16th church. There are a few artifacts with notes and descriptions next to the display. It's a tiny museum and easy to miss out. At the end or exit of the museum, it's a small souvenir shop, where a little nun was hosting this place.

Worth a visit. Especially the timeline view is interesting. The museum is small but so is the entrance fee, so its a fair deal.
