Even if hospitals are not allowed to touch during the war.. Still the Japanese fleet bombed them. Because of that.. America troops decided to relocate all the remaining patients inside the the malinta tunnel. There were 1000 hospital bed inside the tunnel according to our tour guide.

コレヒドールの病院跡
日本人のガイドとフィリピン人のガイドのどちらかを選べます。フィリピン人のガイドを語学の勉強を兼ねて選びましたが、日本人からすると特にこの場所で小癪なことを言っていました。当然、日本人用とその他の国用では説明内容は異なるとのことです。
