Chongliyan Thermal Pools

One of the best place to relax in Bontoc, good for family bondings. Around 20-30 minutes drive from Bontoc proper. The road heading there is not recommended for small vehicles or sedans. Thermal temperature of the water pools can be adjusted upon request.

Nice place to stay, easy to reach by Jeepney to Mainit or Guina-ang.

Its okay because the water is hot you wont stop staying. Going there is a package deal of room, a nipa hut and you can cook utilize kitchen wares. Check in at 4 pm and must be out at 8 am the other day a limited time for me. So far so good we enjoyed . Note most of the road part s one way and rough road driver must be attentive on curves and slopes. Nice views can be seen along the road.

The resort is perfect for family outings and relaxation. The pools' thermal heat is rejuvenating and best of all, temperature can be controlled upon request. The only downside are the shower rooms.

Located in Mainit Barangay in Bontoc. Chongliyan Thermal Pools offers 2 types of amenities: swimming on the cold waters of the pool or take a dip on the hot waters straight from the hot spring. It has one pool, two shared "hot tubs", 6-8 dinning areas, a CR for both male and female, a store for food or drinks, 8 washrooms and a long sink fronting the wash rooms. Entrance fee is 150 per head in daytime and they accept reservations for overnighters. No Hard Drinks allowed and theres no CELLULAR COVERAGE in the area due to the location of the barangay being surrounded by high hills.

The thermal pool is located in a fairly remote village which you have to walk through to get to it. Very cheap entry for the private pool but if you don't mind going commando the locals will let you use their public thermal pools for free. They use these for bathing but the water is very clean.
