Alta Vista Golf & Country Club

Given the location of this mountainside course, the designer beautifully crafted a challenging layout all so wonderfully interesting - you will be rewarded well when you manage properly your golf shot. However, if you want to take a risk, you can taunt your playing partners with a good score or woefully regret your decision. The course is also scenic - you are on a high mountainous slope overlooking part of the city structure and further beyond is the visible sea. There are 16 of us who attested to this review about Alta Vista Golf & Country Club.

Best for events, reccomended. Very friendly staff. Good food, nice view of the city big toilets, very clean atmosphere and not difficult to deal with their people. Been doing events here in different companies before and the other day a wedding event. THANK YOU ALTA VISTA!!!

Before I begin, your need to be a member, or referred by a member to have access to the amenities.

Rates for members are cheaper compared to guests, but to become a member, you'll probably need lots and lots of $$$.

We use the badminton courts and it's 200/hr for non members.

Alta vista is a nice place but has a lot of good and bad points.

The good points:
1. Really nice place to hang out and enjoy the scenery from the foothills.
2. Amenities are really well maintained
3. Non member can access the pool as well, and it's perfect for weddings and conferences.
4. You can take lots and lots of pictures as the place is picturesque.
5. The place sometime has that feel like you are in California just because of how they landscaped the pool area.

The bad points:
1. Their "cafeteria" is not something to be proud of... For a club that needs one to invest a lot of money to be a member, their area has poor, cheap looking tables and chairs. The food is just like the food you buy at any carenderia (e.g. inun-unan (fish paksiw), ginagmay (pork dish), no soup)...

2. Some areas have been neglected but I would just assume this to be so because of the pandemic and they have less staff, and/or maybe few members coming in.

But overall, if you have the opportunity, definitely come here. Esp if you want to play golf, or just using the driving range, I'd highly recommend Alta Vista.

Alta Vista Golf & Country Club is one of the best planned facilities in the area. It has a very pleasing atmosphere of mountain air and design and the scenery from the above is amazing. The golf club hosts big and important events (e.g. Cebu Chamber's Business-In-Golf is held there annually.) It is also away from distractions in the city yet it is very accessible.

My first visit and my impression is excellent.
They were well organized for the PAL Tournament.
The Exclusive Private Golf Course. It also has a swimming pool for the members only.

The golf is just simply top notch... the view is breathtaking. The staff? Cebu hospitality at its finest. A "must" in Cebu golf.

The place was very nice and the view was amazing as well. I wasnt just able to take more pictures of the surroundings.

The last time I played here I was 10 years old, now 2 decades has passed and the place is still the same. It's great.

I love the view of this place which has a wide space for golf and some outdoor activities and I also enjoyed its area for wedding reception and is really elegant for taking awesome pictures with family and friends.

We had our Christmas party here. The amenities are almost excellent. It is hard to get without a proper transportation though.

Great view beautiful golf course and great staff food is very affordable and good quality. Very relaxing and also fast internet great place for family and retirement.
