Spotted Pig Cafe

We came to Spotted Pig for breakfast one day and we could not stop having a great start of the day throughout our whole vacation in Siargao. WHAT A PLACE! Food is incredibly delicious, the pancakes are huge and the eggs Benedict are a must. The fact that they offer gluten free and vegan options is amazing (first place I’ve found in the whole Philippines with gluten free options after 15 islands and 24 days). Coffee has a great taste and prices are worthy. Highly recommended! :)
Big shout out to the staff - the two guys and Maria working there are friendly and helpful.

Small cosy place that is great for coffee and a small snack. They have some yummy looking cakes and brownies too. I’ve been here a few times for the glutenfree pancakes with ice cream and ice latte with oat milk. It is overpriced but I won’t complain because the pancakes are delicious!

Wanted to come here for eggs Benedict but good thing they have croissants too! Food and coffee are gooooddd.

best brunch place in IAO🌴 Also my fav place to chill and have a coffee, or dessert! Don’t forget to ask them what their ice cream if the day is! My fav thing to get is the banana nutella crepe for something sweet🤍 on top of great food, the staff are always so friendly and happy to serve you. so don’t miss this place!☀

The cortado was really good while the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was just ok. I thought it lacked some of the smokiness and they could do better with seasoning it. The cafe’s also a bit tight, could fit about 20-25 and that’s pushing it. Dont know of they take reservation, but would do it to secure a table. Overall would revisit and reco the Spotted Pig. :)

Superb! Excellent flat whites and I’m not usually an iced coffee drinker but the sea salt is brilliant. Really enjoyed the food and baked goods I had there too. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful cafe- the best in Siargao! Great food, atmosphere and vibe- very friendly staff too. A must visit!

Touchdown Siargao yay! Too early to check-in at my resort hotel accomodations along General Luna.

As soon as I dropped my bag, I’m already famished and in desperate need of getting caffeinated.

So the first order of the day is to grab breakfast. I spotted Spotted Pig across the street.

The place is quite packed around 9am. Lucky to grab a seat, had their famous Eggs Benedict with ham. The server suggested their flat white.

They have espresso-based drinks, hot or iced. I also spotted a pourover on the menu. I might try that some other time.

For the meantime, Siargao awaits to be explored.

We had our breakfast here at Spotted Pig twice in our 6-night stay in Siargao. The staff were kind and approachable. The food and coffee was great too! Tried both their cold brew and iced long black, and it reminded me of my days in back in Sydney. So good! I also recommend their Eggs Benedict and Avo Toast. Definitely coming back again!

We had a nice breakfast over there. Egg Benedict and Crepes with lot of nutela, banana and ice cream.

Very good eggs Benedict and the Nutella banana crepe was also excellent. They have oat milk for your coffee. The matcha latte was way to sweet, undrinkable.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing this coffee place in Siargao is! We swung by for breakfast and had the most epic Eggs Benedict and a killer cheesecake. And let's talk about their coffee... it's the bomb! It's hands down the best coffee we've ever tasted. It gave us the perfect kickstart to our day. Oh, and we couldn't resist trying their ice matcha with oat milk too (oat milk is made by the Baristas). This place is gonna be our go-to breakfast spot in Siargao, no doubt about it. If you're in town, you gotta check it out! Lo

Review 05/23:
I returned after more than half to try out the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. The Yolk was perfectly runny, the salmon juicy and delicious. The Calamansi Hollandaise gave the dish a nice little Filipino touch and biting freshness. Coffee was still as great as on my last visit. One of the best places to go in Siargao for Coffee and all day Breakfast.

Review 09/22:
The place and ambiance is very inviting and the staff super friendly. Also, the coffee and all of the drinks are really delicious.

But, the Katsu Sando was just not good, especially for its quite high price. The Ciabatta was way to chewy and undersized for all those (mostly) soft toppings, so you could barely eat it as a sandwich (something went wrong if you must eat a sandwich with cutlery). The tonkatsu itself was good, but barely noticeable, since it was unfortunately drenched in way too much sweet sauce. I would also recommend to serve the vegs as a side on the plate with a nice dressing, to lessen the load on the sandwich and fill up the real estate on the plate itself. Sometimes, simple is just better.

Anyway, I would still return to sample the other dishes and hope to be more satisfied with the food on my next visit. They do have a wide variety of dishes, including many vegetarian and vegan options. And the coffee is still great!

It's a very homey cafe, like going into someone's house and sitting around in the kitchen together. They have good breakfast choices. It's moderately expensive, the regular prices for Siargao. I had an avocado toast - it was good, but the bread tasted a bit yeasty and sweet. They have a homemade bread, I think the recipe could be tweaked a bit - it wasn't as sweet as the Filipino bread in general, but it's nowhere near the taste of the European bread. They have some cakes too. Their coffee is good. They also sell beans. The young people working there were super kind, just lovely. I really felt looked after there but not in an intrusive way. Absolutely 5 star service. I assume they have good wifi as there were loads of people coming with their laptop to work from there.

Very lovely and affordable place for breakfast, brunch and lunch. It’s always super busy with people and the staff is always keeping busy so it takes a moment until you can order and get your food.

Delicious meals, kind waitress and AC inside.
We ordered avocado on toast and the special mushroom on toast.

Great coffee with many varieties to choose from. If you want something sweet with the coffee I recommend the Cebu cake. Best one I’ve had so far in the Philippines! Food is super delicious here.

Along the chill music and AC it turns into a great place to get your work done with your laptop when you enjoy a decent cup of coffee
Don't miss their cinnamon rolls, which are extremely delicious!

I’m sorry but if people are complaining that this place is too small and does not have enough plugs 🔌 they should gtfo and dare I say check their privilege.

It’s a cafe for coffee and eating. They’re not advertising to be a coworking space. I consider myself lucky to have such a space like this and for that, thank you for existing.

Had their flat white and it was good. I have yet to go back and try their pastries and I will because this place impressed me with the quality of their space and coffee.

But yes I agree staff service could be better. Not everyone was as warm but they weren’t rude either so not really a bad thing.
