Meraki

I'm glad we chose Meraki! It surely has everything you need. I love that we felt really at home and I wished we could've stayed longer (on a good side, a reason to come back here). The room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice and bright. And the dogs, Nala and Zulu, were angels! The definitely are the highlight of our stay in Meraki I had to ask Shannen to visit them even if we weren't staying there anymore. The location is a 5-minute drive going to the center but was perfect for us since we love driving around and the area is so quiet but near beach! The staffs were very nice too! Everything was communicated well from check-in to check-out and all our requests were attended to in such a quick time. The light breakfast was a huge deal too! Being able to grab a bread or fruit before going out was so helpful especially when you can't decide where to eat a full breakfast. The Wi-Fi was top-notch! We stayed for 3 nights and worked 8 hours a day and we never had a problem! The mobile data and cellular were also excellent! If you're reading this and is planning to go to Siargao, don't miss this chance of staying at Meraki. We surely recommend this place and would be back here for sure!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Meraki for 4 days and 3 nights with 12 of my other family members and it was a truly remarkable place that surpassed all my expectations. The place was a 5/5 for being clean and modern for an airbnb/hostel. The experience was nothing short of exceptional, and provided us with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

The rooms were spotless and the attention to cleanliness was evident in every corner, from the neatly made beds to the polished surfaces. The sparkling cleanliness of the bathroom was truly commendable, and the amenities provided were of the highest quality. It was a delight to come back to such a pristine and well-maintained room after a long day of island hopping.

What truly sets this place apart, however, was Talia and Shannen’s (the managers) exceptional hospitality. From the moment I made my reservation, they were incredibly accommodating and attentive to my needs. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible, providing helpful suggestions for local attractions and dining options.

I can confidently say that this place is perfect if you are staying in Siargao and want a peaceful and clean place to stay. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this is the perfect choice for a memorable and relaxing stay. The combination of a clean and well-appointed room, a very nice and clean bathroom, and a host who goes the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction is truly a winning combination. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience.

Everything is as advertised, but I personally think that the whole place and the vibe is even better in person. Our stay was made more memorable because of the Meraki dogs, Zulu and Nala. Every time we returned home (yes, Meraki was our home away from home) they would meet us at the door and would bring us to our room on the second floor and on some mornings we hear them waiting outside our day as if they’re waiting to greet us good morning. Your staff/managers, Shannen and Ysa/Issa were approachable and responsive. They even helped us book our land tour.

To sum it up, we had an amazing time at Meraki, enjoying both mornings and night time, as the place gave us peace and comfort. We’ll definitely stay there again when we come back. 🤎

One of Siargao's best-kept secrets, MERAKI is a great place to stay at if you want a peaceful and nostalgic vibe. The rooms are clean, spacious and simple yet elegant in design, with comfortable beds and an private outdoor patio. The bathroom's signature feature lies in the rainshower - temperature and shower mode can be adjusted to your liking. The IG-worthy common areas of MERAKI makes you feel like you are in an oasis. I felt relaxed in an instant when I tried the plunge pool. The free WIFI in this place is indeed fast and reliable. A light, simple breakfast (fruits and bread) is also provided for free. This B&B looks luxurious without having to spend a lot, very much worth your every buck.

One of the downsides I observed during my 3D/2N stay is the accessibility of the place. The town proper (General Luna) is not walkable from this place. You need to rent a motorcycle (which cost us a little more than the average daily rate owing to the hotel's location outside town proper), or take a tricycle (which doesn't pass by often). Communication is also another concern, since I wasn't able to call using Globe or Smart networks (although this is may also be because of the overall poor network service in Siargao at the moment due to Typhoon Odette 2 years ago). But these simple concerns were addressed by the host (Tali), who was very quick to respond to these concerns through chat. Tali generously helped arrange the motorcycle rental, airport transfer service and self-check-in and check-out process

I would very much recommend this place for groups of friends and families looking for a sweet escape from the bustling General Luna town proper. Take lots of pictures (like I did) to savor the experience staying at this wonderful and inspired bed and breakfast.

Meraki is definitely a place to take into consideration to stay for when you go visit Siargao Island. The building/structure was very thought through. Little details matter so It's really awesome! Hot/Cold showers, the pool, the kitchen, very well put together. Accommodating owner too.

Very peaceful and stylish place to stay. Great location and fast internet. Most importantly the staff are very accommodating and friendly.

If you’re looking for a quite spot with fast internet and close to the beach, I highly recommend Meraki. The place is new, neat and a lot of instagrammable corners! Host and manager are very hands on and you can get local tips from them. Nala and Zulu are the cutest security of Meraki ☺

Room we stayed were a bit dark. And in the afternoon, mosquitoes can welcome you though they have insect spray guests can use.

Light breakfast were inluded included and much appreciated especially brewed coffee.

Quiet place just right outside GL. Definitely a place for couples, friends.
