Black Scoop Café Maginhawa

One of the bigger spots along Maginahawa,perfect when waiting for picking up someone or just that relaxed meetup. Parking can be a hassle.friendly staff..

We went for after dinner coffee and dessert at Black Scoop Maginhawa. Very spacious and clean place. The food was ok and satisfying... a great way to cap an evening of gastronomic treats!
Will I go back again? YES!!!

Newest hole in the wall along Maginhawa street. Came by here today and this cafe is still on their soft opening. Opens at 10 am, closes at 12 midnight.

The building design is literally a great convenience for customers as there are parking spaces available at the front. We all know one of the major difficulties when planning on a food trip to Maginhawa and you are bringing your vehicle is parking space. That's absolutely no lie.

I honestly thought I will never have the opportunity to experience this newest sundae creation, which by the way I had stumbled upon a video clip few months ago featuring the same product but unfortunately only available in New York. No they're not the same brand nor same store. Same food idea but only local and thank goodness it is available in Manila.
Sundae flavor only comes in two:
(1) BLACK MASCARPONE
(2) MILK TEA SWIRL.

I ordered a plain cup of Milk Tea Swirl with an extra sinker of Boba which costs extra P20.00 I posted up pictures of its Sundae Menu. If you happen to be ordering their famour Sundae, you will have to choose first what sort of Sundae in cup / cone you will get: Plain cup, Cup Classic [+1 Topping], Cup Grande [+ 1 Topping and 1 Crunch], or Cup Supreme [+1 Topping and 2 Crunches]. Then, you will be asked what sundae flavor shall be swirled into the cup/cone: Black Mascarpone? Milk Tea Swirl? You will see variety of toppings and crunch options you might want to add in your sundae. I wasn't really in the mood for anything mysterious today. I just really wanted to appreciate how this Milk Tea Swirl sundae tastes and it did not disappoint.

Black Scoop cafe also offers food and drinks such as:

As for their food menu, my general comment is that food options are very limited but pretty accetable.

Ambience is absolutely delightful. Young and old ones will definitely enjoy it. Indoor and outdoor seats are available.

Expect this place to be packed in the next few weeks / months time.

The restaurant is still polishing details (it opened July 26, 2018) so there may still be rough spots, though I didn't encounter any.

The place is clean and well lit. There is a lot of sitting options and I notice there are a lot of students there. So I guess the wifi connection is good. 😁
The food is reasonably priced and the service is quick.

I really love the Milk Tea Icecream and the hot chocolate drink. You can try the other drinks.

Price range: 100 above

They are serving coffee, frappe, icecream, cakes, lattes and other foods like pasta.

The place is cozy, big and comfortable.

Staffs are friendly.

What makes Black Scoop unique?
It's not only the place that I keep coming back every week, it can be everything about the store, from black, brown, and white dominated interior to affordable (sorry but i dont think 85-180php price for drinks and 120-250pbp price for food is overpriced) yet delicious food and drinks. You'll never go wrong with black scoop.

I don't find it very odd that from once a month visit, it turned to twice a month, then once a week to every after 2 days. Me and my friends are food junkies. We never fail to try different foods but this one definitely is love and taste at first sight.

Go ahead and try black bison for basic milk tea starters, hokkaido and cheesecake milktea are next. You can also choose to order blueberry cheesecake or strawberry cheesecake frappe if you are craving for sweet drinks or just order green apple fruit tea 50% sugar that is served with orange slice, calamansi and basil seeds (which became my most favorite drink here) Then try their nachos that is good for groups. You may also opt to try their beef tapas, pancakes and other delectable menu. Oh! And one last thing guys.... Don't forget to try their mascarpone ice cream topped with your choice of crunch and syrup.

Very nice looking place. One of the better looking places in Maginhawa. We tried the mascarpone-based and milk tea-based soft serve. Both were good but I especially liked the milk tea version.

Quiet enough for reading, chatting with friends, or a relaxing afternoon milk tea.

Everyone who plans to go to Maginhawa must try this place! I was surprised that the range of desserts they offer ranges from PhP 80-150 -- lower than what I expected and what I actually would be willing to spend because of its ambiance. The place looks neat and masculine. Every corner is insta-worthy shot! Their desserts have unique twist which may tickle your curiosity to order one. The service is great as well, but you need to spend at least PhP100 to avail their free wifi.

They offer brown sugar latte and it tastes like Tiger Sugar, it's pretty decent. A lot of students go here to study and work on their laptops and is actually a quiet place. There are a lot of seats available and the ambiance is great.

I love this place! It’s definitely buzzing with energy. There are a lot of choices to try, from milk tea, ice cream to coffee. I did not get to explore their food menu as the queue is really long and you just want to get that wonderful drink and gulp it all up all together. The furnitures and interior is a really comfy place to chat and hang out. There is only a few parking slots with double rounds for each lane. It can accommodate maximum of 8 cars max and packed. Foot traffic is also good as it is along a known food lane - Maginhawa Street. This is definitely a mark in your map and a must visit place! Superb!!!

Very nice place... lot of parking spaces. Very good coffee too. The Place is relaxing.

Price and food quality is good.

We stayed at the alfresco part of the cafe. It's a little bit cold for us inside. Don't worry because it's not hot outside and it's not smoking area. Not like some cafe that alfresco means smoking area.

Great food, great milktea, great coffee, and great chocolate.

The staff are polite and follow health safety protocols, the package of the products are great. You will not regret buying here everyone, if there was no pandemic they also have the best area to hang around, the interior design looks cozy and well thought of

If you are looking for a different taste of coffee and milk tea then you must go here. They also serve sandwiches and rice meal here.

My friends and I had a lot of fun! I ordered Hershey's cookies and cream frappe. Definitely delicious!
