for people who want to be far away from other tourists in the middle of the forest - just the thing. The bungalow is simple and awesome. The service is great. the host takes care of every concern and makes sure that his guests have everything they need. the scooter comes for free because you need it (about 2 km) to get to the city and the beaches. we had great service. they take care of all questions about travel, food and more. a loving family who make the place a home for you. the experience of living in the jungle outside of the stressful city is worth experiencing. There were no insects in the accommodation itself for the 5 days and we had a restful sleep on the bed.

What an amazing place. Where to begin? From the sustainable and ecofriendly concept to the nice food and great people – everything was perfect. We loved it so much! This family cares about the environment and about you as a person. We stayed there for 6 Days and we became part of this wonderful family. They showed us the lovely farm, we had bonfires, surprise dinners and nice evenings together. We learned so much about their concept and their fruits and plants. The huts are so beautiful! Of course in the beginning it is a bit scary to have an open hut in the jungle. But after the first night, you wake up with the sounds of nature! It is unbelievable. You get used to it and it’s one of our favorite experiences from 1 year of traveling. They have natural einsect protection. So we had no problems and slept like babies ;-) The people there put their heart in soul in this project! they give you amazing Tipps for El Nido (away from the crowds!) and they support the locals. We can’t thank them enough for all the things we learned, the most tasty fruits and the best Filipino food.

Where to start? When we arrived we already felt that this place is magical! We were greeted with a welcome drink (best mango juice we've ever had!) and our bags were brought up to the bamboo hut in the same time. In the evening we had a delicious welcome dinner with a bonfire 😊.

The bamboo hut is just beautiful! Everything is man made, the bed incl. sheets are very comfy & it is great to have the mosquito net - altough we did not have many natural visitors 😉. The breakfast (continental) was great too & is served in front of the hut in the middle of nature. In the night you can stargaze & you can also see a nice sunset.

The owners - Jonet and his family as well as his brother - are such kind people, very attentative & super helpful. We had dinner twice during our stay, everything was very tasty & freshly prepared by Jovel. Some of the food is from their farm (mango, eggs etc), some elements are bought, but from what they have told us they try to be even more self retained in the future. Also the place has a nice "history" as it was build up from the ground respectively all plants were planted and have grown over the past 7 years. It was very nice to see how they love their place & that there are still people which are regrowing nature! 😊

They have also picked us up as well as dropped us off at the airport in their nice car (hands down at 6am in the morning!). And not to forget - we also were able to use one of their motorcycles for free which was very handy & much appreciated!!

Thanks again for everything - if we come back to Palawan we will make sure to come by again 😍.

Had such an amazing stay here! Incredible nature views and such helpful and friendly staff. Probably the #1 place we stayed at in the Philippines. Food is incredible as well and the huts are so cozy and chill, couldn’t recommend it more!

Amazing spot

Een van de meest geweldige plekken waar we ooit waar dan ook hebben geslapen. Het prachtige en super sfeervol ingerichte huisje is door de eigenaar zelf ontworpen en gebouwd. We werden vriendelijk en enthousiast ontvangen en het welkomstdiner dat gemaakt was door een chefkok was heerlijk! Vanuit de hangmat bovenin het huisje, heb je mooi uitzicht. Je zit echt midden in de natuur. Het ontbijt wordt bij het huisje gebracht en was goed verzorgd. Omdat het best een stukje van de hoofdweg af ligt, mag je gratis de scooter gebruiken om de omgeving te verkennen. Je bent met de scooter binnen ongeveer 15 minuten bij het strand. Ze hebben zelfs een online map ontwikkeld, waarop alle plekken te zien zijn die een bezoek waard zijn tijdens je verblijf. En dan juist ook de leuke niet al te toeristische plekken. De mega intelligente eigenaar heeft daarnaast ook nog eens een goed hart en heeft de mooiste ideeën over o.a. de toekomst van het land. Het zou voor veel mensen een aanwinst zijn als hij deze plannen weet te realiseren. Bedankt voor wat je doet en ga vooral zo door!

Le meilleur endroit où nous avons séjourné aux Philippines.
La chambre est incroyable, en pleine nature avec une vue imprenable.
Tout a été fait pour respecter l’environnement naturel. Visites de nombreux animaux dans notre chambre 😍 (gecko, écureuil, lézard, oiseaux et même cows et poules le matin).
Un vrai rêve de s’endormir et de se réveiller aux bruits de la nature.
La chambre est tout confort, très propre.

Petit déjeuner, repas du soir et location de scooter inclus dans le prix.
Le repas du soir est préparé chaleureusement dans une ambiance magnifique, a côté du feu. Nous avions précisé que nous étions Vegan et ils ce sont adaptés pour le repas ainsi que le petit déjeuner.
A seulement 15 min en scooter du centre de El Nido, 20 min de l’aéroport en tricycle.
C’était au delà de nos attentes, nous espérons pouvoir y retourner très vite.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön und angenehm!
Wer gerne der Tierwelt von Palawan näher kommen möchte ist hier genau richtig, man darf nur nicht sensibel sein.
Wunderschöne Aussicht in den Bergen im Grünen und leckeres Frühstück!

Lugar magnífico para desconectar y estar rodeado de naturaleza sin duda nos sentimos muy cómodos y seguros!

המארחים באמת משפחה מקסימה ונותנת להרגיש בבית לחלוטין. הבקתות פרטיות לחלוטין, לגמרי באמצע הג׳ונגל. חוויה ייחודית ובעייתי ממש שווה את התשלום.
הבקתה נקייה מאוד, יש בה כל מה שצריך- מגבות נקיות עם ריח טוב, ערסל להסתכל על הנוף, מקלחת עם מים חמים וזרם מעולה , אפילו מים לשתייה וכל כלי הריצה שתצטרכו. את המזוודות לקחו לנו למעלה ככה שאין צורך להתאמץ בכלל.
הכינו עבורנו ארוחת ערב מקומית שהייתה הארוחה הפיליפינית הכי טעימה שאכלנו אחרי 3 שבועות שמטיילים בפיליפינים.לצד הארוחה הייתה מדורה שהכינו עבורנו. ארוחת הבוקר הגיעה אלינו לחדר והייתה טעימה גם היא, המארח הוא שף והוא יכין את הארוחה לפי בקשתכם.
בנוסף, היה אופנוע שקיבלנו בחינם לכל השהות.
משפחה מקסימה שעזרה בכל מה שביקשנו.
