Baguio Arboretum

I rated it as a 5 cause its my first time on an Arboretum. I hope people support more initiative in supporting tree planting activities. It was a successful day for Sitel Baguio- we were able to plant 200 saplings. Once its fully open to the public you can appreciate a quick escape from the buzzing city of Baguio.

Though I was allowed to enter and take photos, the guard on duty did not allow me to explore the whole place. According to her, the place is closed for now. She indicated the areas that I can go to. All other areas were off-limits. I was able to take few photos and some video clips.

The place is quiet and relaxing. Of course, since it is very near the road, you can hear the sound of revving engines from time to time. The chirping of the birds compensate for that though. I wish there were more trees there. Besides, it is an arboretum.

Under improvement

We went there on our way to the Botanical Gardens and the place is closed off from the public for renovation. You can still see the trees inside the area from the roadside, but that's it.

It says here in the description that it's open but it's actually closed. Please edit so it won't mislead people. Thank you.
