It was a pleasant small hike, the stairs going up is convenient enough, the trail without stair support is kind of slippery because of dried leaves and dry soil. The rock formation and the view is amazing. Good visits 👍

You'll really enjoy the beauty of nature here. The hike is neither long nor difficult, perfect for beginners. The rock formations are perfect for picture taking. Just avoid wearing shorts because you might get wounded by the sharp rocks. Also, make sure your shoes are not slippery. But all the effort will be worth it once you get to the top! Especially if the weather is pleasant.

Short (5 minutes) walk from the parking area by climbing up the metal stairs lead to the actual entrance. There you pay an entrance fee of 100 php per person. Place is open from 5.30 am to 6 pm. One may also stay overnight in a tent ⛺ but that requires prior reservation.

Turning left upon entrance leads to pine covered hill used for camping. Peaceful and relaxing place.

Turning right upon entrance leads to the rest area, cafeteria and at the very end of this trail to the rocky hill - popular site where people take their Instagram photos. This place can be congested at times.

From both hills there are great views of the surrounding landscape.

This place is very nice, you will enjoy the view and fresh air just few minutes from Baguio city and center of La Trinidad, Benguet. You can see the strawberry farm ang Benguet state university from the top of the mountain. There is also a small cafe here it will win your heart ♥ I highly recommend.

We went there about 5 pm hoping to witness the sunset however, it became foggy.. and that made this experience exciting. :)

You will have a second thought at first when you see where you are going to start but take risks.

It will not be easy but it will be worth it.

We took the opportunity to witness the town's light and the sunset; it was definitely worth going there. It was comforting to gaze at the lovely scenery.

Entrance Fee: 100 per head

This place deserves a spot in your iti going LaTri. Though you have to climb a good 10-15 mins to get there, you'll be awed by what the place can offer. The view, the serenity. Entrance is 100php, there are also cabins that can be rented for 1800php per night. The cafe at the top is already closed when we get there even if it's just 530pm. Also, I don't know if the 2 dogs are aggressive or just being territorial, there are two tourists that were chased and almost bitten by the two dogs when we went there, pretty sure aggressive sila kase nung dumaan kami pababa, kahol sila ng kahol and nag ggrowl sa mga nakasabay naming iba pababa.

I went back after 2 years to check if there had been changes around here and yet it was the same- amazing place and very good food as before.

Been there again after two years, and the feeling still lingers in my soul. Kind of therapeutic to sit on the rock formations while being mesmerized with the view of the La Trinidad valley. A café on top of the mountain is a plus as you sip a cup of coffee while embracing the cold breeze.

A good place in Baguio. I had a relaxing time in here. I forgot my hat in the coffee shop but the staff was very kind. They brought it back for me in the next day. I will go back here in the future ❤❤❤

Overall great experience, you could go here for a picnic and a small hike and experience nature. The cafe at the top serves great tasting coffee and food.

Some precaution:
The road going to the drop point is very very steep.
Its a bit dangerous in the rocky parts as seen in the photo.

If you wnat to feel that time is slow, go here. You definitely won't feel the rush and chaos here. Love it!

If you want to connect to Mother Nature , this place won’t disappoint. The trail will stretch as far as you want to explore. The rocky surfaces are sharp and can be challenging if u don’t have the proper footwear and attire. To those that complain about the litter and mess left behind by careless visitors may I suggest as a good citizen of the Earth to pick them up as you go along. 100 pesos is a fair entry price for maintenance of the park and for the custodians. After all who are called upon when incidents occur? Anyway apart from the cafe and awesome scenery this is one of the most beautiful spots of Baguio/Trinidad.

Tired from the city bustle in Baguio but don't want to venture too far from it? Mt. Kalugong in La Trinidad will tuck you with peace and tranquil sound of nature. You can stay for a picnic here or you can opt to dine in their cafe, they also offer overnight stays.

Great short visit to Mt. Kalugong. A great way to spend an afternoon instead of going to John Hay or SM, it's great to support local destinations.

The rock formations are for the adventure seeking hikers as clearly this area is yet to be explored and mapped properly. But even for non hikers, it's a place to visit and discover.

It's a very steep road to get there and it's only one way for vehicles. Better to walk up than drive, specially for non Baguio/mountain drivers. If you decide to bring a vehicle, make sure it's a four wheel drive and honk on every corner.

Walking up will be about 30 minutes from the main road and then another 20 minute hike up to the cafe. To explore the area give or take 45 minutes. There's a registration before getting in, we paid Php for 6 adults and 3 kids. The local cafe called "Kalesa Jen E Mainom" has great coffee options and the cakes are homemade and delicious! The coffee space is inviting and they have boardgames. Definitely better than Starbucks.

My mom and 80+ y/o aunt managed the 20 minute hike and my 3 y/o niece was not afraid of the heights.

The best way to describe Mt. Kalugong is a maze of rocks that its difficult to figure where to hop in or walk in thru the formations but it's worth it to see the sights! The fog made it magical too.

I simply love this place!I remember the first time I visited this, it was because of the coffee shop which was trending before. This time I wanted to explore the cultural village as I saw fantastic pictures from the social media. It did not fail to amaze me with the towering rocks to where you can climb and have a panoramic view of thr beautiful La Trinidad valley. If you are visiting Baguio, dont forget to includr this in your sidetrip list. Best time is during the sunrise or sunset. Currently, there are two cafe's in the area or you may also bring your food (no corkage). This is perfect for team building activities and family gathering. They also offee accommodation that ranges from a cottage to a tent (you may also bring your tent).

It was quite a refreshing place. You have to pay 5 PHP for the comfort room tho. There is also a cafe inside wherein you can go after or before you roam the place. It only took 15 minutes for us to climb the hike.
