Mt. Kalugong Kape-an/Cafe

On top of the very nice overlooking view of La Trinidad town and strawberry farm, food is really good here!

food was great! you'd need to hike from the road through the cultural village which is in the forested area, up to the top via the rocky steps to reach the cafe, but yes it's worth it!

they have a variety of food to choose from, would definitely go back for more :)

the view of the strawberry farm and La Trinidad from this vantage point makes for an excellent place for taking photos, especially during sunset, unfortunately we weren't able to take any sunset photos since we got here lunchtime

Amazing concept, amazing food and coffee/drinks. Staffs are accommodating, you just need to pay entrance fee to Mt Kalugong place but I'll come back again.

Tip: check the weather forecast before coming so you would appreciate it fully.

Nice cafe with a view of La Trinidad and Baguio. You need to hike for about 30 mins from the jump off to get here. But it was worth it 😊 Drinks and food were so so good and for the price, it's pretty reasonable.

The breath taking view of whole La Trinidad from this place is so amazing, I wouldn't leave this place if only I could; but since we need to get back to other things, this place is definitely at the top of my list to visit soon, refresh and unwind from the hustles and bustles of the city.

I personally loved it also that the cafe is pet-friendly and the whole village itself has a free tour guide cats and dogs which is one of the many reasons why I would love love to keep coming back to this place.

Lastly, even if the place was located at the peak of the mountain, the prices of the menu are NOT OVERPRICED. I deeply appreciate that.

We highly recommend this coffee shop! Foods are so delicious, very friendly chef and owner, reasonable price also. Coffees and chocolates, cakes are their specialties!
You can relax and see the beautiful City and the amazing rocks formation.

Food is absolutely delicious. I had the burger and fries and both were fresh ingredients purely handmade. Absolutely worth it for it's price.

Really nice coffee shop located at the top of La Trinidad that offers a unique dining experience!

Personally looooved the cafés homey ambiance and cabin feels that is further amplified with an overlooking view of La Trinidad. Foods' are not that bad either which are sold at an affordable price. Temperature in the place is also chilly that is perfect for hanging out. In case you get tired of the scenery inside the cafe, Mount Kalugong's summit is just a stone throw's away!

I came all the way from Bahrain just to experience their food and the view, The experience was really great, The food was really delicious, especially the cheese cake was really good and not too sweet, The Spanish latte was one of the best, I really recommend this cafe to everyone and you should try it, Great job Kape-an

Excellent, you need to register worth of 100pesos per head and you can enjoy the view until 6pm.from baguio city just ride a jeep name :la trinidad but you need to ask the driver that if he can drop you road to mt. Kalugong then walk like 25mins then ENJOY.

Amazing coffee shop.. you have to hike maybe 10 minutes up from the parking area to the mountaintop coffee shop The views are amazing definitely worth the trip up..

How do I even begin? Hmmmm….

For someone my age, and in my physical condition, it was no easy walk in the park…..more like a hike up to the moutain in my case. Tiring as it was, getting up to finally see the views from the verandah of the cafe and of course, to taste the food prepared by Chef Lawrence was definitely worth the hike, traffic, pawis and aching muscles.

We got there quite late so we did not really have much time to savor and enjoy the food from their vast menu but from the few items that we had, it was fantastic. Got a complimentary appetizer from Chef and it tasted amazing. Not your usual kind of sandwich. It was an elevated type of “merienda” from a chef with years of exposure and training working on an international cruise ship.

Then the pasta! It was exquisite to say the least. I’ve had some good pastas but this one made by chef using only natural ingredients, was to die for. “Hindi tinipid ang ingredients” as we like to say.

And lastly, the fries. Not your usual fast-food type of fries but home made, made with love kind of fries using real patatas man piman😬.

And of course the fresh-brewed coffee, as the fog started to creep into the cafe - sarap ng feeling.

I definitely recommend this place to those who want to get some excercise and eat some amazing food all at the same time.
