One of the beautiful and old church in Cavite. Located in Cavite City. When we visited the church it was still under construction. The altar is beautiful as well as the location although finding parking is a challenge.

One of the must visit churches in Cavite during Lenten season. At the back of altar you can see the image of the miraculous Nuestra Senora dela Soledad de Porta Vega.

Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Solitude or commonly known as San Roque Parish Church located at Padre Burgos Ave., San Roque, Cavite City, Cavite, Philippines. The newly proclaimed Diocesean Shrine was carrying the old picture of Our Lady of Solitude or the Nuestra Sñra Dela Soledad de Porta Vaga which already Canonically Crowned and last November 24, 2018, the image was officially declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the National Museum of thePhilippines.
The parish church was recommended for pilgrimage activities especially during lent season. Better to check the original image of our lady of solitude on her sanctuary located at the back of the main altar and ask some prayers from her.

The shrine of the oldest extant dated Marian Painting in the Philippines ~ Nuestra Señora de la Soledad de Porta Vaga, the Queen and Patroness of the entire Province of Cavite.
The 350 year old Original Icon will be canonically crowned on Nov. 18, 2018 by the decree of His Holiness Pope Francis with Archbishop Gabriele Giordano Caccia, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines as the crowning prelate together with Bishop Reynaldo G. Evangelista, bishop of the Diocese of Imus.
The original Icon of the Virgen de la Soledad de Porta Vaga will also be declared as a National Cultural Treasure of the Philippines by the National Museum on Nov. 24, 2018.

The church my mother and all of her siblings were baptized in the late 1940's-1950's

I visited the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Solitude of Porta- San roque, Cavite City last month and I was amazed by its beauty and history. The church is a Latin Rite Catholic church that enshrines Our Lady of Solitude of Porta Vaga, an icon that appeared after an apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The church was established more than three hundred years ago and has undergone numerous renovations and refurbishings since then. The church has a façade with a dome and a spire, and a spacious interior with elegant decorations. The church is also the site of many devotional activities and celebrations, especially during the feast day of Our Lady of Solitude of Porta Vaga on November 17. I felt a sense of peace and joy as I prayed in front of the image of Our Lady. I highly recommend this church to anyone who wants to experience the rich culture and faith of Cavite.

If you're tired of work or need to have a place that you can unwind peacefully this shrine is the best for you to go, The church is just at the main road, and considered as one of the mother church of cavite. A lot of good place to take some picture for your new DP.

Our place of worship here in Imus, Cavite. It is one of the oldest cathedrals in Cavite and the seat of the Bishop.

If you visit the church and you're in luck you will be have a personal tour guide to show you around the church and tell you its history and if you are lucky enough they will show you the top of the church where you can see manila and the entire cavite city

Visited this place once, yet the church structure is magneficient and soothing that you could sit in peace and pray for all the things you want him to hear.

Loved the ambience, very solemned , were blessed that we visited this church again after long time ago since the MOA hasnt been developed yet.
