This Hotel is very accommodating specifically there rooms. It feels like you are in your own home. And also it is good for families vacay. Their room that is good for two can accommodate 5 people. Thanks baypark hotel for one night experience. We held our deso training in this pleasant hotel. 5 stars for the foods. Delicious and marvelous. 😍

You guys rock! They didn’t have a bartender yet but we asked them for a couple of ingredients so we can make it ourselves instead. So they scrambled to either find them or make them.

Great value and service, enjoyed everything from the hospitality to the breakfast. Room was clean upon inspection, CR was spacious with easy to use heated shower. Mattresses are comfortable and rooms come with free wifi as well as premium Tv, refrigerator, work space, side tables, and a closet with a safe.

The best place we stayed the week we were on Samar. The staff are very polite, attentive and friendly. They speak really good English and are helpful with giving directions.

Location is great, right on the Main Street, close to the mall and the grand tours bus station. The main jeepney/ bus station is on the other side of town, a 15-20 peso ride away. Every tricycle driver will ask for 100 pesos, so beware of getting overcharged.

The free breakfast buffet was also the best out of anywhere else we stayed on Samar. They had at least 8 dishes, a “made to order” omelette station, toast, breads, fruit, dessert and several drinks.

The rooftop restaurant served the best food we had on Samar. The food was great quality and flavors. The chef knows what they’re doing. Service is good. They have a weird corkage fee policy for wine where they determine the fee based on the wine you have (first time I’ve ever heard of this). It’s about 100-150 pesos corkage. They have a very nice ocean view. The music is terrible top 40 style blaring loud but it’s give and take here. You need to take the bad with the good bc there’s no such thing as a great situation.

The best attraction we found was the Tarangban falls, about 2 hours away (by the time you haggle your way to the jeepney station, get on a jeepney and get there). The Malajog beach zipline is the other attraction in the area, about 1.5 hours away. Beware bc it’s only open on Saturday/ Sunday from 8am-2pm. Drivers will try to force you to get a “especial” ride where they charge you 10x the price for a private trip. Just be firm and tell them you want to go with other passengers and you will get a taste of the local transport experience.

The room was comfy and clean. Toiletries were cheap and not good quality so bring your own. Shower pressure was great, temperature was warm. There’s a shower curtain, which is not standard for Asia so that was awesome, but there’s no lip on the ground to catch the water so prepare to get the bathroom floor wet if you don’t push the water towards the drain with your foot as you shower. Good cable tv channels, cold a/c and nice bedding.

We got an inside room with no window and it was actually great for sleeping bc it was nice and dark and quiet. Most places facing the street are very loud if they have windows bc of the constant beeping of horns and motors without mufflers and general commotion. I’d highly recommend the windowless room if you want to sleep well!

We were allowed to check in early with no hassle so bonus points for that!

The best hotel in Calbayog, Samar. 5 minutes to the mall, 3 minutes to the pier and a very breathtaking restaurant at the top floor. Not to mention, they have a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of food. Will surely be back soon when ill visit samar.

Very nice hotel, staff was so great to us the entire trip. Really enjoyed the roof top bar and breakfast in the mornings.
