Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Mary Magdalene - Poblacion, Kawit, Cavite

Planned to book here. We made an ocular visit here and the church is very solemn. The staff here is accommodating too. The interiors were made of varnished wood carvings that complements the historical beauty of the church.

It has a wide and spacious parking lot that can accomodate more than 30 cars if you are planning to book your services here.

The location is also near Aguinaldo Shrine. You can drop by there if you want to visit and take pictures.

We went there for our Lenten pilgrimage last March 6. The old historic structure and the ambiance of the church made us feel the loving presence of the Lord. Truly it is a house of worship.

It is also a good place to exchange vows, like the young couple we witnessed dancing in jig as they went out of the church after exchanging their "I DO's".

Went on the fiesta day. The traffic is very long because of the band competition. But once finish the traffic is gone. The church is pretty and really beautiful. 🫶❤

A solemn place for prayers and requests for Catholic visitors. The Church is along the Kawit road near Aguinaldo Shrine. It has a one way traffic scheme for entrance and exit. Parking is at the back of the Church. The adoration room is outside, few steps away from the Church. There is a venue for prayer request and donation. Also, the candle room and confession room is present for visiting Catholics.

I loove this church its very simple and very cozy place . if u go inside the altar will wow ur eyes so beautiful i really recommended this place to go

Catholic Church. Great place for weddings because of its long aisle. Devotees of Saint Mary Magdalene flock here during the Kawit Town Fiesta every July 22.

Majestic Interior! Well preserved and well taken care of

It is a nice typical spanish era church, some restorations are done by non professional teams so it lost most of its original parts exceptionally the roof and water drainages. Probably during this restoration building lost its gargoyles, it is visible only one grotesque over the tower wall. The inside walls are digged and damaged by electrical wire installations and repaired unprofessionally. The outside restorations with non authentic materials are flashing. There are 2 cripts on the northern wall inside, one of them belongs to an aguinaldo family member and the other is a 5 months old baby without naming plate. The main entrance 2 tall cylindirical hammer head columns and the following 2 short lodge support columns are so authentic.

It is a wonderful experience to visit a historical church.

The church was to old but preserved. Solemnity, the culture and history of is still seen on this church. Recommended to visit during it's town fiesta every 21 and 22nd of July.

Well maintained church. Social distancing is strongly enforced. Only 4 people are allowed to sit in a pew.
