Thunderbird Resorts and Casinos Poro Point

We had nothing but the best experience at this resort. The staff were friendly, the food was amazing, and the place was clean and organized. They let us check in early and upgraded us to a nicer room. I will definitely return to this place in the future.

Popularly known as the Santorini of Asia, It is perched on a picturesque 100-foot cliff at the highest point of Poro Point Peninsula, offering stunning views of San Fernando Bay and the West Philippine Sea, as well as some of the most picturesque sunsets (as you can see on one of my posted photos).

It's a 5-star resort so you know the price to expect. Amenities-wise, they sure live up to it's upscale status.

Greece like vibes lunch, go to Thunderbirds Resort in San Fernando La Union. Here you’ll find white and blue only colored buildings akin to blue and white colored houses in Greece. If you are visiting and walking in, the guard will ask 500 per person to go inside just for a tour. If you have bookings to the restaurant, this is waived. Call the restaurant if the guard insists on paying the entrance fee. Cheers.

My wife and spent the day on the resort and we both had an amazing time. The grounds were so clean and super friendly staff always so eager to help. The restaurant food was amazing. We spent most of the time in the pool because it eas so hot. We both felt like we are staying in a 5 star resort! We created lots of amazing memories ♥. It was so quite and relaxing and I can't think of any cons to be honest.

Beautiful resort which is themed very much like Santorini but it maintains an air of authenticity. Very hospitable and great amenities. Would absolutely stay here again.

What you have seen in the picture is what will you see in reality. Very attentive receptionist. Hospitality is good. Service are good. Place are good.

Magnificent view. ! Location was very private. Room was spacious. The breakfast was good. Parking area is wide enough. if you're looking for a quiet place to stay and relax this is the place to be.!

Though it was mostly raining during our stay,, I can say that we enjoyed the place, our room which is clean and comfortable and the service was the best. I commended the manager Jan, who was very warm and assured that our stay will be worthy inspite of the bad weather. I would definitely recommend thunderbird…and i already did! 😊

Overall, the place is great. We just had the cheapest room but the price is still not cheap though. So me and my husband are a little disappointed of the toilet and room itself. I have expected more. But we enjoyed our stay. A lot of photo ops spots too within the entire resort.

The place is nice, it's perfect for family and friends to bond over the sight of the ocean. Great amenities and spacious rooms. Highly recommended.

I was in Thunderbird because of our FSY Conference, it was a nice experience. Staffs are friendly and always smiling, the rooms are neat.The chef's cook is delicious, I miss thunderbird already!! Thank you thunderbird for the patience for us youth! Till we meet again :>

The staff was polite and friendly i like the most. Regular rooms i saw need to renovate.

we stayed in one of their villas.
-everything is spacious. From the receiving area, kitchen, rooms and bath
-they have 2 rooms in every villa. Every room have their own restroom/bathroom. Bath tub in every room.
-WiFi not that stable. Connection is sometimes very slow.

We had a very great experience on this place. There are two shores we went to. Directly at the back is a bit rocky but besides the hotel there's a shore where you can enjoy the sand.

A luxurious and very huge hotel. Even function halls are great, adding up good service and hospitable staff. With very clean rooms. Staycation at its best.
