Amare La Cucina La Union

If you are looking for a good pizza, this is the place to go. The pizza is made in front of you in an open kitchen with stone oven.
I went for the GRANDE 13”, and believe me I am a good eater, but I couldn’t finish it🤣. The second dish is the Wood Fire Ribs, a recommendation of our service team which we didn’t regret. We went for SHARE size good for 2. The ribs are tender juicy with an honey glaze, fresh veggies and rice. We got some steak knife for the ribs, but you only need a fork to slice into the meat😍. 3 big ribs are too much for one, take out for dinner.
What I personally liked most is deep frozen, iced, beer mug and the ice cold SMB as well the ice cold bottle of water.🍺🍺🍺
If you like your dish more chili hot🌶 the restaurant offers on each table a selection of chili oil, chili honey and dried chili flakes. We tried all and found the chili flakes are the hottest 🌶🌶🌶.
The service is very good, attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the restaurant is no longer located on the beach side, so a lunch/dinner with view is missing😥
The only downside we found is that the management allows customer in swim and bathing suite access to the restaurant. We found it very disturbing and inappropriate to sit next to a table of customer coming in right from the beach, at the end it is still a restaurant and NOT a beach both😡.
Nevertheless we grant 5🌟 and hope that management establishes a “basic” dress code to enter the restaurant 👍

The ambiance, the food, the staff, and the service were all excellent.
It was also great to experience pizza making. :)

Honest review. We only ate our choice of order which are the white pizza and lasagna and it tastes delicious! My family ordered others and said that they also liked it. Overall their food are recommended

A really great place to dine in La Union. So good we ate here twice during our trip, once for lunch and once for dinner and both were incredible experiences. Staff was amazing and the ambience differentiates itself from other restaurants in the area because it offers truly secluded al fresco dining. Everything on the menu was superb especially the goat cheese pizza.

This little restaurant was tucked along the main road of San Juan, La Union. We were hungry but we were seated fast. We were attended to quickly & patiently. The food was a surprise. It befits food in hotels. I thought there must be a chef in the kitchen. Surprisingly, there was none. All meals were concocted by members of the family. The Alvin Pizza was a best seller. Together with the meatballs in tomato sauce. I am happy & proud such a restaurant exists in a small town. You really never know what you are going to stumble upon. Check this out guys!!!

This gem was reloacted at the heart of Dan Fernando from a former beach side area, which we missed. The new location is quite convenient as it is tucked away from the bustle of San Juan, and close to where we stayed so we only walked to the restaurant. It gets busy quickly so be there earlier. We got there at arpund 6:30 pm and seats were filled by 7:30 to 8:00. Try everything with their honey with chili. Will go back again. Service was good. People are nice. Ambience is great.

The place is clean and beautiful. Food are a bit pricey but their pizzas and pastas are so good. Their pizzas are cooked in pugon that's why it is so good. Highly recommended italian restaurant in San Juan, La Union!

If you're a fan of Amare La Cucina, you won't be disappointed by their Elyu branch. The food is consistently excellent, just like their other locations.

One of the best experience i had so far... From the food to the place to their staff who are very attentive... The only problem is they have a very small parking space... But not totally an issue...

They serve pizza fast! Because it is fresh... Very uneven... And they taste great...

Thei choices of beer are also unique... Craft beer with ipa of 7.5.. yes.. it will kick you and your heart...

Prices are very reasonable...

They offer various kinds of pasta , pizza and other delicacies. I love their Alvin's Pizza... It has the right mix of cheese and sauce. A must-try. The supreme meatballs pasta is also great. Their mint tea is also a must-try. So refreshing. You'll love the minty after-taste :)
Their food service is quite fast. The place is also beautiful. It has a nice view of the sea :)

42 kilometers nearer! 😊😍😍😍 My first encounter with pizza cooked from open brick ovens is with Amare La Cucina in Baguio. With their restaurant branch in San Juan, La Union, it is nearer, more accessible if coming from TPLEX or Agoo. Location is superb as the restaurant is near the beach. You get to enjoy beach vibe, seaside dining ambience while eating Amare's great tasting food! I recommend dining at Amare at various times of the day to experience different excellent dining pleasures! Pizzas are great, the ribs are superb-- consistent with the quality in the Amare of Baguio, and my favorite is the Aglio Olio. Dining is a luxury experience, especially if Daryl is the one serving and waiting on you. There is parking space for about 6 cars, but can be full during peak hours.

dined here around lunch parking was a little bit tricky but found a spot with pay parking. we were seated right away and the server was very accommodating and lively. we also had to experience to make our own pizza it was fun with the brick oven and everything. food was on point and authentic the place was amazing they also have a view deck on the beach front where you can enjoy the picturesque view. price were cheaper than expected. would recommend this place to friends and family and we would definitely come back.

Was able to try Wood Fired Ribs and Alvin’s Pizza. Their ribs was okay; I think I’ve tasted better ones from other restaurants. It may look like a small serving, but it’s mostly meat so you still get value for your money.

Alvin’s Pizza was wonderful! It is made of homemade basil sauce, bacon, mozzarella, and parmagiano reggado. I really liked their basil sauce recipe and their pizza dough! We ordered thin crust, and one of the waitresses invited us to their kitchen to see and maybe join in pizza making. I thought that was nice, but we passed up the chance because we were so tired from our five or six-hour trip.

Their staff was very courteous, and their food was so good. Price point was okay — it was worth it!

My visit to La Union won’t be complete without dining here.

I love their pugon baked pizza. You can actually help make it. Try it it’s fun.

I also love their dirty chai latte (hot).

The place was beautiful and the food was delicious... you can even bake your own pizza straight from brick furnace

This is a very beautiful and scenic place. The ambiance is serene, relaxing, peaceful and calm. They have good food too. You can beautiful pictures of the beach.

Bby back ribs is delicious. Fairly priced items. I'm on Low carb diet so I haven't got the chance to taste the pizzas and pastas but my friends really loved them. They have pizza-making experience with kids and parents!

I've been to a lot of Italian Restaurants, but this place stands out as one of the best. The food was amazing for the price. We had truffle pasta and burrata salad: simple dishes but prepared with so much refinement. Highly recommended!
