San Fernando Public Market

Sooo exciting! Affordable fresh vegetables and other goods. A bit traffic but I think this is normal in wet/dry market. A must-visit place to experience local Phil market. The locals are friendly & helpful :)
Must keep you belongings close to you though; just in case.

A very far drive to San Fernando LanUnion from Zambales just to see my long lost cousin. They call this place the San Fernando wet market and I went to the dry section of it where the slippers are. Everything cheap! Comfortable walking through from one shop to another. Bought 6 pairs of slippers and sandals. I parked my car at Starbucks as there is no parking to this area just take the trike to get into tne street.

The public market has just been burned out 🔥 recently, but the vendors are so ever resilient and very much creative to continue with their businesses to serve the people of San Fernando La Union. They built temporary stalls on the streets around the dry goods market. I just hope that the city government would rebuilt the public market with a few floors to avoid sidewalk vendors and to accommodate more vehicles as parking has become a notorious problem in the city.

This market is quite big. There is so much to see and look at, food, food, food.
A good place to buy anything from an egg to a bottle of Tanduay for the best price. Fruits,eats veg and so much more.
The life is big in this market, Go visit.
