Plaza Rizal

It's good to have it at night time more street food available. But It need to be more organized.

This plaza is our rendezvous. It is easy to locate without using Google Maps because of its vast area, surrounded by the National Museum and Shrine. In the morning, you may feed the pigeons, it was fun.

Nice place to loiter around. Very hot during the midday, so bring with you water and an umbrella. Please feed the birds responsibly.

I believe it would be the first landmark that would greet you once you come on the island. It was clean and peaceful. It has this beautiful view of the former provincial capitol wherein you can take a photo. Hopefully they would be able to fix and hide these spaghetti wires since it's kinda annoying.

The newly-rehabilitated Plaza Rizal is located in between the St. Joseph Cathedral and the Old Bohol Capitol (now operated by the National Museum). Great place to unwind especially at night where it feels safe because the place is well-lighted. Splendid place where history meets beauty.

Just like your typical rizal plaza, but if you love to eat ballut, there is a place in that area where you can sit and enjoy it. Good place for a date!

Plaza Rizal is a clean park at the center of the city. A great place to chill at.

Province aura all over the place. You can also enjoy balot and mangga w/ alamang at night. Can be found just right along the highway 🙂

Pretty place to sit, though the roads are very busy.

We eat popcorn here, also fed the doves around this area while taking some photos and visited their museum. We'd had fun exploring.

Plaza Rizal, Carlos P. Garcia Avenue, Poblacion II (in front of the National Museum and the Provincial Capitol of Bohol. Formerly the Plaza del Principe, it is the traditional center of the city. A monument to José Rizal stands in the center, while a monument to Carlos P. Garcia stands to the east. A replica of the Chocolate Hills is located to the west beside the Rizal monument.
