Cafe Antigua

This is one of the oldest restaurants in the city and is still popular among the locals.

I have seen a couple of bad reviews and I think they just did not order the gems that this restaurant has to offer.

Don’t get me wrong, the usual chami, siopao, mami are okay but the best offerings are those that take time to cook ❤

Here are a few must-haves:

Morisquetta fried rice - kanin pa lang ulam na! This is a good tummy-filler that goes well with their viands.

Pigyolk - seasoned ground pork, wrapped in thin pork skin, fried to a perfect crisp, then topped with ground peanuts and sweet and sour sauce. You won’t usually find this in Chinese restaurants 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Pata tim - to enjoy this at the most delicate form, call in advance and tell them to cook this for at least 45 minutes. I promise you, this is worth the long wait as the meat, fat, and skin all melt in your mouth. Sobrang swabe nito lalo na sa cuapao o tasty bread!!!

Litid - pugo, litid, konting greens para hindi gaano nakakakonsensya 🤣🤣🤣

Marami pang mga sikat na ulam dito gaya ng torta con grejo, ma-ki, sisig, antigua chicken, atbp. Pero unahin niyo muna mga nirekomenda ko sa taas para di kayo malito.

Great food especially their Siopao matched with beef noodles and chami tamis anghang. Wow kare kare so delicious with not too salty bagoong.

The food is amazing. Pancit chami is one of the best pancit I've ever had. The atmosphere gives you the old vintage vibes.

Pancit Bijon, Pancit Canton, Sotanghon Guisado, Chami, Lomi, Siopao (Asado and Bola Bola), Halo Halo, Leche Flan, Fried Chicken, Yang Chao Fried Rice, Chicken Bar B Que, Hototay Soup, Crab and Corn Soup, Macaroni Salad, Tapsilog, Chopsuey, Asado, Authentic Chinese Kikiam, Camaron Rebosado. These delicious delights are included in their menu. All of these are my family's favorites. The service is superb. Personnel are friendly, corteous and well trained. Prices are very friendly and reasonable too. The ambiance is conducive for sumptous meals for family and friends. I recommend this restaurant to all because I also like others to experience the food their chefs can offer.

Our personal favorite restaurant in Lucena CIty! It has the retro diner vibes and it's well illuminated and ventilated. The selection of foods are really great; the foods are really delicious especially Chami, Fried Rice and Fried Chicken.. The wait time may take a while but the prices are reasonable. This is a really good place to visit when in Lucena!

The food is so classic. The halo halo is simple yet satisfying i dont mind paying that extra buck. The siopao is to die for for 50 pesoscsulit ka na busog na busog at napakalamig mg ambiance. A place to rest for a while for a rider like me thevpalce is awesome
