Aw-Asen Falls

Aw-asen falls is for people who enjoy the raw beauty that nature gives. It was a very long ride from Manila. A short hike but challenging trail, I've just been there in the month of January, it's not muddy, but the trail is slippery since it is a silt soil. The place is very raw from the jump off to the falls itself. No bathroom, to take baths and change clothes after the hike, so you'll have to be resourceful and use whatever you can find in the surroundings :) No store to buy food, so bring your own food.

Highest waterfall I've seen so far. Beautiful place ,it's worth the long walk and assault for more than an hour .not advisable for beginners but the fit and skill on mountain climbing

If you are a nature's lovers this is one of the best place or best attraction in Sigay Ilocos Sur great for friends lovers and family bonding when it comes to trekking I think slippery when it rains so you should be prepared.

For those nature's lovers,this is one of the best places to visit at ilocos sur.best to unwind and picnics.you can come here via motorcycle or 4wheels vehicle, and you have to hike 30mins ..very friendly people and you can hire tour guide for minimum of 600 or more depending on agreement..

With an impressive 120meters peak, this waterfall claims to be the highest in Region 1. Though the trail heading down to its basin is dreadful, it's just a glitch of fraction compared to the beauty that's waiting for you underneath.

Always check on the weather before planning to visit as this falls is situated in the nooks and crannies which makes it less accessible. Safety first.

Just visited after typhoon Egay together with other local tourist from Baguio City/ Benguet. It's the highest waterfalls I've seen and by far the most stunning and mystical. It's a gem and a promising tourist destination. I hope the local government will improve the road to the place, add safer parking space, build public bathroom and probaly dorms for overnight stays.

Spectacular, beautiful, tall waterfalls worth visiting!

Aw-asen falls is just a stunning view to marvel at. The really long hike it took for us to get there was all worth it when we saw the falls. The waters were cool and refreshing, it took away the exhaustion my body felt during the hike.

Hike for more or less an hour from jump off -Sigay
Be sure to use hiking shoes since mabato yung pababa sa falls kasi hindi pa masyadong improved yung daanan. Walang pagbibihisan doon pero may mga malalaking bato naman.
Pumunta kami October 15, walang dahon o sanga na lumulutang. Malinis saka fresh ng tubig. We stayed for 2 -3 hours or so.
Spent 1,999 from Baguio ang pick up at meron pa kaming isang falls na pinuntahan.
If byahe ng madaling araw be sure na bumili or magbaon ng pagkain kasi wala pang naka open na kainan sa Suyo/Cervantes.
Worth it yung gastos ang ganda ng falls 🥰
