Casa Matutina has attentive and polite restaurant servers. The meals we ordered were all delicious. Their complimentary Sinigang Soup was my favorite. Travelers who want to eat healthy Filipino foods before or after a long trip will find this restaurant conveniently near the TPLEX Rosario Exit.

Friendly prices and the quality and taste is pleasant.

I have to say their staff is very kind though. My daughter was feverish and I was fretting about the Convenience Store next to it running out of paracetamol and the waitress over heard and said there is a Mercury Drugstore I can drive to nearby or walk to the front of the gasoline station to try the stores outside. I got lucky, one of the stores did have paracetamol.

Their kare-kare with rice meal is p200. Sisig and rice is p260. They will also give you free soup of the day if you want.

Coming from Baguio, here is a great place for a stopover at La Union. It serves great food at a very reasonable price. We had inihaw na pusit, pokipoki, sinigang na salmon and ensaladang talong at mangga. That was a really great meal before a long journey heading back to Manila.

Service is great. Crew members are thoughtful. Service water even has a slice of lemon in it.
Ambience has a rustic, native feel to it, which compliments to the dishes offered. It feels like home! ❤

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food tasted great and are reasonably priced. Be aware only that the candies they give for appetizers are NOT FREE.
