Minas Buko Halo Halo

Mina's Buko Halo-halo is a roadside garden diner. The main food they serve is the buko halo-halo. The place also offers fried lumpia (spring rolls) and empanada.

We dropped by this place on a Sunday afternoon on our way home from an out-of-town trip with friends. This place is popular among travelers and motorists in this area .

The garden has cottages and sheds that has varying capacities. It also has open garden sets for smaller groups. It's being managed personally by a nice couple who are both retirees. They personally served our food and spent time with us exchanging pleasantries and sharing with us their travel experiences among other topics.

The buko halo-halo is a mixture of sweetened local fruits as well as slices of fresh fruits and fresh buko strips. The sweetness is just right.

We also ordered their fried lumpia which was a perfect pair with the halo-halo.

Nice and clean garden. Though the greens need watering due to the dry season. Their pond is understandably dry. Wide parking area for more than 20 cars

Best halo halo I have tasted by far, the ambiance was amazing, and thr people were great. Can't wait to go back.
