Hillside Hostel

Stayed here with friends for 2 days. The place is quiet and cozy. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Ate Diane, Ate Cen, and Kuya JR attended to us, and even went as far as to show us a safe way to go to the beachfront. The place has a large parking area inside and is pet-friendly. Most kitchen utensils and basic ingredients are also available if you're planning to cook.

Stayed here for a month, and felt right at home from the very first day. If you're looking for a place to work from while taking in the sights of La Union, Hillside Hostel is the one. You will be well taken care of here. The rooms are cozy, the internet is fast, the owner is helpful, the staff are friendly, and the dogs are precious. I definitely appreciate the location. Hillside is close enough to Urbiztondo's Surftown that you can enjoy its energy with frequent visits, while staying away from its busy crowds and noisy establishments when it's time for rest.

I had a really nice stay and I will definitely come back.

The place was great! Rooms were very spacious and the roof deck was an awesome addition – you'll have a great time there. The place is about 10 minutes away from Surftown. Fortunately, we had a car. But if you don't, they could arrange a trike service for free! This place checks off all the basic stuff of what a hostel is – clean bathrooms, cozy rooms, and a cool vibe. Very accommodating staff as well!

Me and friends had a great stay! Accomodating and friendly staff, A+ service. The hostel offers plenty of things to do with your barkada. Card games, chill on the rooftop, acoustic jam sessions etc.. They had big bunk beds which had their own individual fan, and the rooms are spacious. They have the essentials you look for in a hostel, Free breakfast, drinking water, kitchen, Parking inside the property is sufficient. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect place to hold your events! Raf, the owner, was very very accommodating with all our needs during the planning stage and then during the event days. All guests were pleased with their stay and happy. Had some guests who had their first -time hostel experience and were happy they had it in hillside. :)

++ Also, had an emergency situation and he handled it with grace, bringing me to the hospital at 1am. You'll be in good hands for sure! haha Thanks Raf!

Best place if you want to be in "Elyu"but still not be in"Elyu" IYKWIM

They have beer. The place is quiet, clean, private and very sulit for the price you pay. Rooms are big. Internet is fast. Staff are very courteous. There's free pandesal breakfast and unli brewed coffee. There is safe parking within the premises. Oh did I tell you they have beer? :)

They cater for a certain market. And I'm glad they provided one.

The entire place is new, simple and modern. I like the industrial theme of the interiors! I also love the rooftop which is spacious for chillin' (tables and bean bags available). Very homey and the staff & Raf are very warm and nice! Away from the busy Urbiztondo proper, which gives the relaxing feels!

It was a great experience staying here last Feb 15. It was our first time staying in a hostel but the place and the hospitality of the staff exceeded our expectation. Definitely will recommend this hostel to our friends. 10 out of 5 stars!

Great private place to stay near San Jaun surf. Staff is friendly and roofdeck is spacious enough to have drinks with your friends

Rustic/kinfolk interior design, very minimalist and practical. Appeals to a young/hip crowd. Excellent accommodation and customer service.
