Whoever wants to visit Sagada must try this hidden gem! This eatery is located at Sagada Public Market. Locals are kind enough to guide us to where we can find it. The food is great and affordable plus the serving is really generous. Good for 2-3 people. We tried their Papaitan (my favorite), Beef Steak, and Beef Bone Soup. Their soup tasted even better because of the gloomy weather. We suggested this to a group we met on a tour and the foreigner loved the Papaitan as well.

Forget restaurants for tourists, this eatery cooks fantastically tasty food. Veggie options sell fast tho so may not he available for dinner. Convenient, friendly, tasty and fresh. Loved it.

The lokal will vouch for this place. After a drink from Cerveza Sagada, this is what our etrike recommended. Pasok ka lang at makikita mo yung iba’t ibang eatery. My balikbayan friend had papaitan and he was grinning from ear to ear because it was delicious. I got beef bone soup and it was good.

I would like to thank the previous reviewer of a year ago stating that the viand portions are good for two - I can confirm that this is still true today at the time of this writing.

We ordered dinuguan and it was indeed great for 2! Not only that, they don't skimp on rice as well - the servings are more than your standard fare of a cup. So we ordered a serving of meat and 2 servings of rice for only P210 so only P105 each ($2 USD).

The taste and flavor is excellent - it is like the pork was roasted first as you can taste the smokiness. And, unlike Filipino food served by chains in the city - they are not loaded with salt!

The service is fast and the staff are very friendly.

Ambiance takes a hit - this is in the marketplace after all where daily produce is bought. The place is quaint and rundown. But, you won't go here for that romantic date or a business meeting.

You go here for a quick, fulfilling and very affordable home cooked meal that grandma makes.

Dining place of choice for some locals who prefer the taste of home-cooked meals. Good for small groups. They also accept catering.
