Legazpi Airport

Legazpi Airport in the Philippines is a major airport in the Bicol Region, serving the vicinity of Legazpi, the capital city of Albay. It has a single runway with dimensions of 2280 x 36 meters, longer than those of the former airports of Bacolod (1958 x 30 meters) and Iloilo City (2100 x 43 meters). The airport can handle medium-sized civilian jets and military aircraft. The airport will be replace by the new Bicol International Airport. Which will open on July 2020.

Facilities are adequate but not spectacular. Unlike the view of Mayon from the terminal building whilst you wait - now that IS spectacular. So 5 stars for the most gorgeous setting of any airport I have visited.

So organized and clean airport

There is free wifi available for 1hour. They also have charging stations inside the departure terminal. It is a quite small airport but really nice and relatively clean.

Small airport but with clean and well maintained facilities, on a clear cloudless day, Mayon Volcano can be seen from here.

This airport is great for its size. Philippines Airlines and Cebu Pacific Airlines are the ones dominating these airport.

The beautiful and perfectly coned Mayon volcano greets you on your arrival at this airport.

Love coming here everytime i back from vacation,, being a bicolana Am very proud....so guys if you are thinki g for some place for fun ..dont forget to visit bicol lots of places to see..is good for family outing friend with barkada....

Not too crowded.. protocols are being followed for everyone’s safety.

Clean airport..good staffs as well..theres a decent airport cafe nearby..very good food and take aways..reasonable prices..
