Guinsuhotan Cave & Cagnitoan Waterfall

This place is so majestic! An hour ride from Maasin City and a few minutes walk. The sound of the falls and the out of this world cave will make you scream with joy. Must visit!

Went here 2007 when I dared to fly alone in Leyte. Put my bike on a bike bag. Deflate almost fully both the wheels and checked in the plane. Had a good time riding my bike going to the falls where there is no google map yet that i have to ask around the locals. But have to stop in the initial falls and cannot go in the cave because I cannot leave my bike and cannot cross the river. The people here are nice and shy but being courteous and return thier kindness helps. Hoping to return one day and see the cave that I missed in this solo biking trip.

Guinsuhotan Cave , a nice hideaway at the Maasin, Leyte. This pristine mountain with lush greeneries worth a walk and worth stime spending. The Guinsuhotan Falls is the facade of Guinsuhotan Cave that welcomes visitors lush overflowing cold water from the heart of the mountain. The mountain and water are well preserve both by locals and the nature.
