Sonya's Garden

We only availed their lunch buffet. The place offers great ambience. All the food served tastes great. I will say, though, if you like your food very salty/very sweet, this is not the place for you.

The washrooms are clean, spacious and equipped with bidets.

I have been going to this restaurant since 2001 when it was still fairly new and met Ms. Sonya herself. It was so quaint back then. Now it has grown so much but the taste has stayed the same. Though I miss the simplicity and elegance back then when she used Mikasa plates and had green mosquito net walls, it is still a nice place to visit and celebrate family occasions.

This is one of the great resort gems of not only tagaytay, not just the Philippines, but of the world. Every detail is meticulously thought over. When you enter this resort you have entered heaven incarnate. The staff are incredibly kind and genuine. The gardens are enchanting and mesmerizing. The food is delectable and served omekase style and both breakfast and dinner is included in the cost, which means you never have to think about where your next meal is going to come from. Sonya is an incredible woman and has a heart of gold. I spent 3 months here and fell in love with the resort and consider it a true home. They treated me like royalty and went above and beyond to keep me happy and taken care of. I honestly I feel like I am married to the resort. I will return here every year for the rest of my life. Thank you so much.

We only stayed 1 night because our flight was delayed. I wish we didn't have other plans otherwise we would have stayed longer. Loved our cottage, the FOOD, the massage, the beautiful plants everywhere, and of course the staff! Thank you so much for an amazing first day home in a long time.

Sonya's Garden is everything we expected, and more. I had my doubts in the beginning because the rooms have no air-conditioning and I they have been around for years so i was afraid the property may be run down.

On the contrary, all of Sonya's Garden was so beautiful maintained. Staying in their cottage without ac gave you a provincial feel and did not feel warm at all (though we did go in December). The white crisp linens they use in both their rooms and dining area were not only beautiful and how they maintained them is quite impressive.

Everyone were nice and we got to meet Sonya herself. She was so warm and gracious that we ended up buying her book and asking her to sign it for us.

They play beautiful 50s music in their dining area and made the experience so relaxing.

I now live overseas but the salad is as good as I had it last over 2 decades ago.
I kept going back for more.
Their secret salad dressing is simply superb.
The place is still well maintained.

Sonya's Garden is a true hidden gem. I stayed here for 4 nights and I loved every second of it. There are plenty of ways to stay inside and relax. Plenty of spa options, massages, mani/Pedi, etc to help you stay relaxed. In addition the food here is some of the best you will have anywhere in the world. The breakfast and dinners were beyond anything I have experienced. The pancakes were literally the best I have had anywhere in the world.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and had an answer for any question that I had. They were very helpful and did a wonderful job cleaning the room every day. They were helpful with information for local places to visit and arranging transportation.

I was fortunate enough to be able to experience this place in the pouring rain and it was beautiful and serene.

There is a tuktuk/tricycle stop right outside the gate that makes getting to the main town easy.

Also the road along Sonya's garden is great for a walk with many sari-sari stores and a pleasant milk tea stand.

Very nice place.
My philippino friends took me to the restaurant and I really enjoyed it. The food is very delicious. You can only go for the buffet, which offers salads, pasta, chicken, soup, desserts,.. also edible flowers, for example.
Or you also addionally can order a la carte.
I highly recommend ordering that beef soup/broth, it's one of the best I ever had.
There's no AC, but a clever system with natural airflow and airfans, which made it very enjoyable.
The restrooms are clean, and you can have a walk through the beautiful gardens.
Would visit this place definetly again.

We visited Sonya’s Garden for my daughter’s 18th birthday. I would say it’s great experience staying here. It’s magical, relaxing and invites good vibes.Amazing hospitality! Staffs are friendly ,approachable, and familiar of almost of the plants around. Great hospitality from arrival to check out. They are surprise set up for my daughter in the room when we arrived. Severs in the dining area is also superb, our server Eyie gave my daughter a surprise cake and birthday song from the rest of the kutchen staff. Thank you Sonya’s for giving our short visit a great one!!!

Stayed here for 3 days and loved my stay. Rooms are Huge! Beds Comfortable. Delicious Food and Amazing Staff.

What a cozy place for events,relaxing and romantic perfect for photo shoots while food is delicious and healthy.. comfort rooms are clean and artistic also had courteous staff...

We just visit Sonya’s for just a smog day, don’t get me wrong it’s still pretty and still renovating the place, we don’t have our lunch here this time just buy some stuff and bake goods. Staff are accommodating and friendly, place still clean and well maintained.

The place is so great, very lush with greens and very homey. Their massage is great too! The staff are very friendly and their food is awesome. Who could've thought that you can eat flowers?

It was a great experience. I love their flower salad.. The aroma in the rooms upon entering was very welcoming and relaxing..

Reviewing the restaurant only for ala carte dining. The place was relaxing nice to go for a walk. The restaurant vibe was nice and cozy, food looked vibrant and fresh, it tasted really good too. They said their all organic so I'm happy that I was eating healthy too. Would dine here again when in Tagaytay.

If you looking a place to enjoyed fresh air and nature vinbes this Sonyas Secret Garden is the place you’ve looking for.

If only I can give more than 5 stars I would. The room and the service are superb! Sonia is a source of inspiration and energy for everyone. Her passion and advocacy towards nature and helping people drive the member of the community to become better every day in what they are tasked to do. The ambience has so much positive energy that you would forget the time passing. Staff will make you feel special with different surprises every day. Coming back is something to look forward to when you are in the Philippines. Our 5 days is really worth the experience.

My fiancée and I decided to treat ourselves to a spa day here. It was definitely the right choice. We had 2 Swedish messages 1 facial for me and 1 foot scrub for my partner. My partner and I absolutely loved it, the staff here are so kind and we both could not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for making our evening so special it was truly a fabulous time!

A very relaxing place to stay. Loved everything about this place. The employees were very accommodating and courteous. The food was great and the surrounding garden was amazing. They say all plants you see in the garden are edible - it’s amazing for me how they are very sustainable. They also offer free wellness activities to stay-in guests, but we haven’t tried them because it was raining. Will be coming back to try them for sure.
