La Casa Ramirez

Great value for the money. The rooms are clean and spacious. Some rooms have a fridge and a mini kitchen. We had the opportunity to stay in both for the two days we were on Vigan. There is also a pool and restaurant but the restaurant is only operational for breakfast. The place is a few minutes drive to Calle Crisologo.

For me it's good enough, very accessible.

Based on my experience, the room was comfortable overall due to the functioning air conditioning, despite the missing toiletries and an issue with the shower light. The staff were helpful. It's quite far from Calle Crisologo, around 10 minutes and the tricycle fare is Php 40 per head, but when I asked the staff from the hotel, they said its only PHP35(not sure if this is per head my bad I didn't clarify), I gave 100 pesos to the tricycle driver and if I didn't ask for the sukli, hindi na ibibigay.

Our room was clean. There'e heater as well.

There's a swimming pool.

There's no restaurant. They only serve breakfast that costs 150 per meal.

Only thing I didn't like about it was the night staff. He was talking to someone in the lobby so loudly and it could be heard in the rooms, at mid night.

Overall this hotel was new and guess still in progress.. Parking was small at the front.. There was parking at the back but was untidy and looked like someone live in the house behind the hotel.. Staff were freindly and helpful.. Hotel was clean inside and at the front of hotel but at the back like I said its was unsightly.. Room itself was small but good and clean.. Bathroom was also clean but we had to keep door closed as the smell from the drains was very strong. The room did have an air con unit which was great cos it's was hot.. Room view was of the back of hotel so was not good.. After leaving hotel realised there was a pool.. Which is not obvious from the front.. Can't comment on it though as didn't use or even see the area. Overall I did like this hotel and would use it again.. But will buy my own bleach to pour down drain next time I am there..

Pros: modern room with ample space, balcony, cold aircon, water dispenser, swimming pool, parking, pet friendly

Cons: cars passing by can be heard in room, thin blankets, unsure about cleanliness because they left a used cup with coffee stain after “housekeeping” when we checked in, towels are not free they will charge 100 php for it, literally no restaurant or decent stores around the area. Staff’s kids even swimming in the pool and roaming around the area.

Chairs are dusty needs to be clean daily, the wifi is meh needs to be clarify what is the proper password for the wifi but the bed is nice

The staff were all very nice. The problem is the plumbing and facilities. Wifi is completely broken. No wifi. The toilet would not flush. The sink would not drain. The pool was cloudy and not clean. No hot water for showers. We had reservations for 3 nights but left after breakfast after the first night. We were willing to pay for the one night but they kept all of the deposit with no partial refund for the other two nights. The staff were perfect, very nice but room was bad.

Worst experience. There was no water on shower, no mirrors on crs. Won't ever stay there again.
