Day Dream Guest House

Very nice guest house with European owner whose really fun to be around and very attentive local stuff. They also make really good breakfasts, room, toilet and bathroom are very clean, comfortable beds. Good motorbikes for rent for good price. If you don't want to be in the most touristy area but be really close, this is the place to be... Thank you, Mario!

The owner is very friendly, gives a lot of recommendations. He wants to give you a good time on the island. The prices in the minibar are good and not overprized. It was also very clean in the house for our whole stay.
The scooters seemed new, very good and affordable. The shower had a good pressure which we haven't had in the philippins so far. If you like diving he gives you a discount for one diving center.

The house is super clean, quiet and comfortable. The owner and the ladies are very friendly, professional and caring, they love making new friends and taking care of their guests.
The rooms are very cozy, air conditioned, big TV, good bed. There are 2 common chilling areas, sharing bathrooms are constantly cleaned up and there is also a well equipped kitchen that guests can use anytime. They offer free water refill and there are a few breakfast options available on the menu.
Located in a quiet area surrounded by nature, this house is just 5 minutes ride from San Juan . You could also book here various services, like scuba diving, snorkeling etc. They will always give you an advice and directions.
All in all, we just didn't want to leave this place. Thank you!

Beat value for money. Owner is very helpful and he can guide you what to do on the island. He will show you best tourists spots. He can also rent you a scooter and take you for diving. Rooms are very clear. Internet is fast. Breakfast was great. We had many booking reservations in Philippines but Day Dream Guest House is the best. I really recommend that place.

On our 1 month trip in the Philippines this was the best accommodation we had. Clean, perfect rooms, great atmosphere and awesome hosts. We can highly recommend the Day Dream Guest House if you plan a stay on Siquijor island. For sure one of the best places on the island.

Really nice room - large and clean. No insects whatsoever, small fridge and AC. Decent internet connection for the small island.

Place has its own power generator, so I haven’t experienced any power disruptions while I’ve been there.

I absolutely loved my stay at Day Dream Guest House. I've stayed in countless places in Asia and never write reviews but wanted to show my gratitude for this new and excellent guest house! What drew me to it was the promise of fast internet, which I rely on for work. Internet in the Philippines and Siquijor can be unreliable, but Day Dream did not disappoint! It was super quick and I was able to get a lot of work done in my private room. Everything is new and nice, the showers even have a tub which is rare in Asia (they are shared bathrooms, just FYI). There are two balconies upstairs to relax on. It's set a short way from the hustle of the main beaches, so it's very peaceful and relaxing. You'll feel like you're staying with friends because they are so so helpful. I arrived late after 9 pm with no booking, and they rushed to help me. I stayed for two days because they were all full after that (my fault for not booking ahead), but even after checking out they were so helpful! I returned twice - once to pick up my bag I had left while exploring, and again to pick up laundry I had left with them. Both times they welcomed me still as a friend and guest, telling me to relax, sit down, and eat some of the homemade food they had made for the Christmas holiday. When I was unsure if the boats would still be running on that day, they were able to quickly call and confirm, something my other hostel had trouble doing. The point is: STAY HERE! You definitely won't regret it. There are always multiple people around willing to help with a smile. I truly wanted to change my plans and stay there for another week.

Very nice place. The woman who runs the place is amazingly nice and makes the place feel like home. The motorbike they rent is in good price and pretty new. Free coffee is available and the rooms are clean and has all you need. Shared bathroom and toilet but they make up to it by cleaning it allll the tiiime. They have like 4 cleaners for this small place. We liked that a lot. Very recommended.

Daydream is the best, all common area are spotless all the time, great breakfast, but what really stands out is Mario and Margie who run this place together. They are both super friendly and open for a chat with a beer anytime or just giving you tips what to do and where to go on the island. Keep up the great work, see you soon again!

This guest house is very clean, the check out is from 6 to 12 which is amazing. It also gives you the chance to have a small breakfast and snacks/coffee/milk and tea for all your stay. For the price paid it is well worth.

Super clean, cozy, quiet, very safe, air conditioned and pretty conveniently located. Mario and Geri give a nice personal touch. Great value glad we got spend a night there.

We were in Daydream guesthouse during 5 nights.It's a good place to rest and to visit the Island.The guesthouse is very clean and the hosts were very welcoming and nice. We will remember of this night drinking rhum with us :-)

Really nice stuff and good service. Very comfortable bed and great service. Really recommended!!! Owner is professional diver so if you like diving you can have really nice conversations.

Nice place, Gerry and Mario and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The house is clean, the room is perfect and place is near many activity.

Coffee , tea and MILO free drink. And also free crackers.
This snack is enough breakfast for me.
But there are no restaurants or shops around here. You have to go to the town San juan for 5 - 10 mins by tricycle. From 10 pesos per person.
