A Villas Resort & Restaurant

It was a last minute book, and we’re lucky to find this gem in Zamboanguita.

We enjoyed our stay so much!
The place is quiet even though it’s just across the national highway, and is also very intimate for couples, I was well rested during my stay.

At first we were hesitant to enter upon arrival because they have dogs in the vicinity but I was happy that they didn’t bug or bark at us when we walk past them.

Then our room; It was such a vibe, paint walls and design were neutral and simple, everything is within reach, we have enough leg room to walk around and love the overlooking view from the veranda.

The food is 10/10 — price point is reasonable as well. We’ve been eating/dining a lot in the city and we know it’s good food when we taste one.
We ordered chicken curry; love how flavorful it is, very creamy, well balanced with ingredients.
Fried Chicken as well is superb, i love it. It’s tender, well fried, and tasteful.

The staffs are great, they’re very accommodating and do mind their own business. Both my partner & I are introverts so we do love it when staffs are not in your face/space.

We’ll recommend & definitely go back!

Perfect getaway with the family! Especially when all the family takes over all the rooms becomes more private... food is good masrap!!! Drinks are good ! Rooms are clean showers are nice wifi is strong even outside the rooms!! The staff is amazing felt like family!!

I love this resort - small and well maintained!
We stayed here March 29-April1, 2023 and every single morning they brushed the pool, mopped the dining area and ensured all sorroundings are clean.
Food is good.
Staffs are welcoming.
Wifi is good - make sure to ask them to not keep it below the table at night as it affects the signal strength.
Over all - its a good place for those who wants a quiet place.

Con: Food from outside has corkage fee

Lots of options around but this is one of the best resorts in the area you can find imo. I have been to a few and some you will not have running water or hot water, etc. This isn't America and the resorts can't all be judged using the same standards. I do have high standards. They have little details that other places don't have, such as , a hair dryer, an amazing over the top complimentary breakfast that is very tasty, welcoming letter, slippers to wear inside the room with a note, covered area for your shoes, hot showers, coffee and everything you can want (nominal fee) in your room. The coffee is free but all the beer and stuff isn't. (Standard). The grounds are well kept, staff are attentive, place has a very small sign on the highway so look for YAP gas station. Rooms are equipped with AC and everything is upgraded. Excellent pool, shower for the pool, access to beach, very peaceful. (Construction is ongoing but that can't be factored in, one can't close down just for that) some of the reviews are entirely too critical. The only downside is the price of the food so bring a bit of extra money for that. Visa and Mastercard accepted for the food. The boat to Apo Island is cash only. There isn't any thing negative to say about this place. I can't say to lower the price of the food without knowing all the details. Filipino owned and operated. Very friendly.

If you're looking for a place with kind, friendly, and extremely helpful staff...then A Villas Resort is really the place for you.

and they have the nicest staff. They were very helpful, and I can tell that they are genuinely warm and nice people.

That's why I'm definitely giving them five stars.

Aside from the helpful staff, their place was really nice and peaceful overall.

Our trip started when me and my friend had to book a resort last minute.

Among the resorts that we've sent inquiries to, they were the ones who responded instantly. They answered all our questions, and we're really helpful.

We booked an overnight stay...requesting a room with a sea view.

And they did! One of my favorites about the stay is the room with the beautiful view. (I felt like I was in a foreign country because of the view. lol)

When we went inside the room, it smelled and looked really nice and clean. It was obvious they disinfected it well before we arrived.

Everything was working well.

The pool was warm and clean, and was great for pictures! Their place was really peaceful.

They also have a TV with Netflix on. So at night, we were able to watch a horror movie. And in the morning, I didn't have to miss an episode of my favorite K-drama (Vincenzo) during my vacation.

We ate dinner and breakfast facing the beautiful view of the infinity pool and the sea. The furniture were comfy. The food was definitely special. They plated and presented them really nicely. And they tasted really good!

In fact, at dinner, we observed many people (not guests) who came just to eat their food. So I guess that's enough proof to say their food is really good.

If there was anything to improve, maybe it's the way they organize the food orders. They confused our orders, maybe because they had so many people staying in to eat.

But overall, the experience was great. I would definitely recommend it for those looking for fancy food, a great view, and great people.

Stayed here with my husband for 8 nights. We had great time . The staffs are very helpful. The place is well maintained.

The hotel offers a range of excellent facilities including a swimming pool, sophisticated rooms that feature free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, and luxurious bathroom amenities. Indoor and outdoor areas are regularly disinfected and kept clean. You will also enjoy complimentary access to the marine sanctuary located very close to the hotel. Its restaurant offers delectable foods for dine in, in-suite dining, social occasions, etc.

Brand new modern resort with full amenities. Very nice infinity pool with a wonderful view of the Mindanao Sea. Occasionally dolphin sightings. The Marine Sanctuary is 2 minutes' walk away. Great and reasonably priced food at the resort restaurant. Highly recommended

I was amaze on the food its delicious and the place are so amazing. A very good place to relax with family and friends. Great experience! sure recommended to my friends.

Really had a great time staying at A Villas. The place was really nice especially their infinity pool. The food was also decent and is reasonably priced. The staffs here are really comendable, they were friendly and always attends the best that they can with our needs. I actually have left my phone and they called us immediately to inform us. The downside is that the location is quite far from the city so it might be really quiet during the night. But if you are looking for a hotel that is far from the lights and buzz of the city plus its only a few minutes away from the port to apo island, then this is the place for you.

This is the best place, like the BDO tagline "we make ways", they do make things happen even at the last moment. Thank you for giving us a memorable dinner date at your place on a such a short notice. We are people who make plans on the last minute and as usual we were looking for places to dine for feb 14th, unfortunately fully booked everywhere. But A Villas Resorts was just a message away and they decided to accommodate us for dinner even if they had fully booked hotel rooms and guests to entertain. Best part was the service and super delicious food. Must try everyone. Happy valentine's day.

I love the view. I love the facility. I love the service. Elegant and classy but it's not gonna break the bank. I will comeback real soon for some more R&R's.
