U Story Guest House Siquijor

Absolutely stunning property. Situated right on the water. Stayed in the Honeymoon bungalow, which was spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The bathroom(CR) was really nice as well, very private but the shower has an opening at the top, peaceful and tranquil.

The food was very delicious, the menu had enough variety where I wasn't eating the same thing the entire stay, service was slow at times but no real complaints at all. They were always accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Never experienced what one of the negative reviewers on here experienced at all. We were always acknowledged.

While they were quick to respond to my email for a seamless ride to their property, keep in mind it is 850p each way, which is listed on their site, but for staying within budget something to be mindful of. You can find more affordable rides or rent a bike in San Juan.

Overall, I loved it. Next Siquijor trip this is where I'll be staying. Be prepared to be wowed the further you get into the property.

Initially I didn’t want to give 5 stars but the staff were lovely and accommodated our requests and suggestions. We had the honeymoon suite but it wasn’t as private as it would suggest.
Bungalow behind can see into shower. Our private spa was visible from many tables and the beach access. Other guests even opened our gate and came down for photo op. The spa wasn’t hot just seawater pumped in. Only mentioning cause price is kinda exxy for 1 night.
I’m 208cm so well above average height and the stick decorations outside our room looked lovely but stabbed me in the head many many times. Could be well shorter.
New French owner was lovely to us and they reserved the best table for me and my partner’s birthday surprise dinner. Even made decorations and personal signage. She had dietary requirements and they met all of them.
Only solid complaint was the music is awful. Covers of edgy pop songs or classics from 70s but with slow tempo breathy female emotional vocals and electronic beat that is meant to invoke relaxation and familiarity but completely missed the mark and ruins the vibe of the lovely pool bar cliff setting. Also on repeat so get used to hear the same 12 songs 6 times in a row. When I finally asked for request to instrumental jazz/classical/chill they nailed it and vibe was perfect.
Old staff are the foundation for the resort we had lovely time conversing. They even gave us small gift on departure.

100% would recommend! The bungalows are great size and offer a lot of wardrobe space. The bathroom is just beautiful, and there is plenty of private outside space! Couldn’t have asked for more! The food was amazing the sashimi and steak both incredible and so well prepared, best food we have had in the Philippines. The pool area is nicely laid out with lots of different cozy areas to sit, sunbathe and dine.

This is a beautiful and relaxing resort. I especially love their use of native materials for the restaurant and bungalows and incorporation of the natural beauty of the island. I had the pleasure of meeting two of the owners, the super attentive and friendly French couple Vanessa and Loic.

I came here for lunch with family and friends and to check out the place for a future stay. The dish Mr. Baboy got rave reviews from our group. I look forward to staying at this resort.

Such a beautiful and magical place that is now on my to go list when on the island. A must see to truly enjoy. There is a beautiful sunset view from the resort, the food is delicious and the ambiance is lovely. For the food, their grilled mahi mahi is cooked to perfection and the Sea Matador platter is to die for. And not to forget the Gaspacho that is very tasty and well seasoned (perfect for a hot day).
The owners are such a sweet couple. They are so friendly and welcoming which was really nice. And the service top-notch.
I definitely recommend this resort without hesitation and will be back for sure. Thank you to the whole U Story Team 👍🏼

Spend a few nights there, room is perfect, clean and also the staff is really willing to provide all services. We dived whit the diveshop PrAna Divers, located at the resort. Corals are amazing, the owner of the diveshop is a really experienced guide, showed us a lot off nice things, many big turtles and a lot of nice stuff. We will come back.

Perfect for us, from the food to the place and staff, it's just great to relax and the scenery is impressive.

Very tasteful decoration as well and close to everything.

The owner named Vanessa is amazing, She exceeded our expectations regarding their place and service. We'll probably be back with our family to dine in again.

Everything was absolutely amazing! We made 1 month holiday in Philippins for our honeymoon and this hotel was the best place!!! Our bungalow was very clean, had super nice decoration and it had its own terrace ! The owner -French lady - is super nice and kind person , staff too. Food was the best in Philippines for sure ! Cocktails were amazing too ! If you are looking for a romantic and island vibe gate away this is the place ! I will miss here so much and looking forward to come back one day !!

Rarely have we visited such a great place like this! The decor is an absolute dream! The house's own cliff and reef is ideal for relaxing and snorkeling. We were there 2 times for the food there, besides we had a whole afternoon relaxed and the massage took up! Everything is more than just recommended! A huge compliment to the house lady who built it! Thanks
