Rakuh A Payaman (Marlboro Country)

My 2nd visit in Batanes and still, this place looks amazingly beautiful. It is a sight to see. The rolling hills of green facing the ocean. We mustered every step against the strong winds just to reach the tip to see the waves below. It was a cold and fun day for us. This place is included in the South Batan Tour. A must-see in the itinerary.
Note: There is a restaurant nearby and a toilet.

It rained on that day, even experienced the earthquake.

Best to go here is summer, sunrise and sunset time.

Food - bring ur own as the store can be close at times. Bring also water

Has toilet and a little waiting area

You can rent a trike here or rent a motor bike in basco.

Went here late but it was a good thing since we had some good photos taken here with no other people left but us.

Must see when you visit Batanes. Make sure to include this on your itinerary.

This ranch type destination is a must when you go to batanes. It has the very best of the view of nature with a little trail to trek but you won't even notice the length of the trail. Fine smelling breeze with sounds coming from the combined ocean and air. More breathtaking views as you go all the way up. I can live here all my life.

Amazing landscape, fresh air from the Pacific. 100% it looks like the winXP background if you know what I mean.

Also known as "Marlboro Hills". The highlight, for me, of the Batanes tour. Affords one of the best vantage point for awesome views of the rugged coasts, rolling greens, and hedgerows...as a bonus thd lighthouse at Batan's East side can be seen from here (below you!)

A picture perfect pasture land with view of Diura beach and mt. Iraya. Bring sun protection and wear trekking sandals. Great place for prenup photoshoot. You can have your lunch at Marconine's, contact them beforehand for reservations.

A place that will captivate every eyes of an individual...so marvelous...very relaxing...everywhere is wonderful ....the breezy air the sound of the waves u will forget manila hahahaha.

Breathtaking place!

Marlboro Country as it is famously called, this was one of our final stops for our entire South Batan tour. You can visibly see almost the entire Batan island--from the Mt. Iraya, which is in the northernmost part of the island, to the Mahatao shores and the hills where this was taken which is already the southern part. This view is indeed fit for the province's tagline #BreathtakingBatanes!
