Detour Cafe Mancora

absolutely my favorite cafe in town with a real espresso machine, staff that knows how to use it and brew your coffee specialties. the smoothie bowls are tasty and filling with daily fresh fruits! wish i knew this place earlier. the canadian owner is super friendly and down to earth 🙏

The best cafe in town! The smoothie bowl was fresh and delicious, especially the fruit. The coffee was also the best I have had in Peru! Thanks for a great meal and service. I will be back!

This is definitely the place to start off your vacation in Mancora. Enjoy the incredible smoothie bowls/acai bowls, and ask for Chino if you want to learn surfing. He will provide you with a unique, local, caring and thoughtful experience on the waters that will make you fall in love with surfing! 🏄

Not only delicious, fresh breakfasts, but also THE BEST coffee you can get in Mancora. It is rich, full of flavour and coming from Peru itself. You can't go wrong with this place.

Best coffee in town! The cafe is on the second floor on top of another cafe/restaurant som don’t miss it. Run by the sweetest couple. The açai bowl and the cinnamon latte (canela/miel) is a must! And if you’re looking for surf lessons Sergio is the perfect teacher so go ahead and ask him while you’re enjoying the great coffee.

I’m so glad this place exists because it’s so hard to find good coffee (with plantbased milk) in Mancora. The smoothie bowls are amazing and the owners are so lovely. The baked goods are also to die for. Muchas graçias 💛

Had a gorgeous vegan toasted sandwich with homemade pesto, balsamic reduction, red peppers and avocado for breakfast (it's listed with mozzarella on the menu but they will replace with avocado). Great prices and my coffee (Americano) was unreal! If you like strong coffee come here. We will be back!

Best coffee we had in Mancora, smoothie bowls are really nice and the fruit is fresh. Staff are friendly and even helped us organise surfing lessons. Highly recommend!

Wow! This place is amazing! The only place in Mancora to get iced coffee which was a must with the heat. Perfect for breakfast and lunch! The staff are Amazing speaking both English and Spanish was super helpful! We got Açaí bowls almost every morning here and everything was so fresh. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Amazing coffee, food (açai & smoothie bowls 😍) ánd surf lessons. Owner Sergio is very helpful and accommodating. I’ve had a week of surf classes with him and would recommend it to everyone (beginners & more experienced surfers). Muchas gracias Sergio! 🙏

Detour Cafe do the best iced coffee’s, açai bowls and toasted sandwiches which are rare to find in Mancora! Staff are so friendly and helpful for tourists too! Even organised some surf lessons with the owners! Love this place :)

Lovely little cafe right off the main street. Had an açaí bowl and a coffee, both were delicious! Food was fresh and well prepared. Note, the cafe is on the second floor of another breakfast location. Stop by and check it out!

By far the best wifi in mancora! Also the only place that will deliver your ice coffee or smoothie directly to the beach!

Seriously this is the only cafe I could bring my laptop to and work remotely without the wifi cutting out! I could do video calls and had no issues at all ❤

Searched high and low for this cafe and could not find it anywhere! I know people said it’s on the 2nd level, but couldn’t find it. Asked lots of locals. No one had any idea. Disappointing, I was excited for an açai bowl.

The acai bowl here was okay was a bit on the skimpy side in terms of toppings/fruit. The real star of the show here is the coffee.
