Nice place. Access to the hotel is rough, but that is the town's fault, not the hotel due to the state the roads are in. Rooms are nice, direct access to the beach and a pool. Restaurant is ok but a bit expensive for what it offers.

This place was absolutely and unexpectedly wonderful. A small property located directly on a vast beach with professional and polite staff, wonderful food, entertainment and classes, cocktails, promotions and even a spa. Everyone was amazing and attentive and moved so quickly to accommodate us. This place was beautiful. My trip waa cancelled the previous year due to illness and the hotel refunded and understood without hesitation. When it was time to re-book, I confirmed without hesitation. Once we arrived, I knew we made the right choice. Welcomed with a welcome drink and a King luxury carpa (tent) with all the amenities you could ask for including AC, a separte living room, a deep soak tub and private outdoor with hammock and ocean views. We slept soundly knowing security was round the clock. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep each evening and greeted us each morning, along with a free breakfast. I have no complaints about this place except to say the pool maintenance could use improvement. We never saw them scrub, take the PH or acid readings or use a vacuum or skim to clean. We did see them treat it with a chemical each evening, however. The spa was amazing and so were the services. As a highlight, my boyfriend and I took a ceviche class that will last us many years to come. I highly recommend: Vichayito Bungalows and Carpas by Aranwa and hope to return.

This was my first trip to vichayito and it is incredible. Our bungalow was right on the beach, with a lot of privacy. The food was incredible. Big portions and very fresh ingredients. Christian made the experience so much better. He loved his job and very friendly and personable. The leche de tigre was refreshing and light on a hot day.

Terrific location just in front of the sea, great value with very reasonable price. Food and drinks are just fabulous. Rooms have air conditioning. They are clean, spacious and comfortable. Amazing and super clean swimming pool. Very good breakfast with egg station every day and very friendly staff.
I will definitely come back!

Absolutely georgeous! Very romantic right on a the beach which seem like it was private because there was no one there. It's has a about 14 rooms and barley saw the other guest. The restaurant is Amazing! We ended up eating all of our meals there trying everything. The staff were really nice and helpful a couple of them spoke English and the ones who didn't took time to use google translator to make it easier for us. Our room was in a Carpas, right on the beach it was very clean comfortable bed and the best part Was that we were able to see and hear the ocean from it. Mancora is about 20 minutes away and the hotel always had a little car to take you there. If your looking of a romantic get away that is close to mancora I highly recommend it.

We had a nice stay though the waves were pretty rough. The ceviche is great!

We stayed at Vichayito Bungalows at the beginning of our honeymoon trip to Peru and we couldn't have picked a better destination!

Our private bungalow had views of the sea and was beautifully decorated and luxurious. Everything was clean and well maintained and the air conditioning was effective at keeping us cool in the very hot atmosphere. The decking area outside the bungalow was a lovely spot to settle in and enjoy a cool drink and my wife made good use of the hammock.

The staff were all very friendly – as we found everyone to be in Peru – and even where they spoke no English they were patient and attentive. The reception did a great job of arranging taxis for us and sorting out an excursion that we had booked ourselves, but were having trouble with. When the waiting staff realised it was our honeymoon, one of them placed an ice bucket with a bottle of prosecco on our deck for when we returned after dinner which was very sweet!

The food and drink was among the highest quality we experienced in our month in Peru and was reasonably priced with main courses being around £7-9 and cocktails being around £3 each. Not cheap for Peru, but very reasonable for the setting.

The hotel has its own beach bar with big and comfy beds and chairs to lounge around on – we particularly liked the double chairs where we could snuggle up and have a pisco sour and watch the sunset. They also offer free kayak hire which we enjoyed having a go at. The beach itself was soft sand with a clear and shallow sea.

Mancora is a 25 minute terrifying tuk-tuk ride from the hotel – we would recommend a taxi instead for more comfort / security! You can also walk there along the beach in a little under 2 hours which was a very pleasant walk with other hotels to wander into for some food or drink for a change. The beach does appear to have a problem with illegal fishing too close to the shore resulting in some dead seals occasionally washing up. The hotel was good at ‘moving them on’ down the beach and it didn’t bother us, but I could imagine some people might be made a bit queasy by it. This is not a problem unique to this hotel, but the entire area due to the illegal fishing.

We would also recommend you take a half day trip to swim with turtles half an hour further round the coast. There were about a dozen turtles when we went and it was one of the most memorable parts of what was a stunning month exploring Peru.

Overall, we could not recommend this hotel strongly enough. It started our honeymoon off in fantastic romantic fashion and we loved it.

Amamos el servicio de este hotel. Hicieron cada momento memorable. No venía desde el 2018 y la verdad estoy sorprendida lo bien capacitado que está el personal . Te hacen sentir no en un hotel sino en familia. Desde que llegas se aprenden los nombres de todos y están pendientes de cada detalle
Valió totalmente la pena. Felicidades al gerente de rrhh porque este equipo es un éxito.

Excelente lugar para descansar y desconectarse de todo, tienen todo lo que necesitas por lo que no es necesario salir del lugar, excelente servicio, desde la recepción hasta la excelente disponibilidad de cada una de las personas que ahí trabajan, grato ambiente , actividades entretenidas , rica comida y buenos tragos. Habitaciones cómodas con una vista privilegiada , mención aparte para Marrón, un amor !!!!
