Hotel Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort

The boat excursion to see all the birds of the islands was more than worth the price.

The rooms were very nice for the price, and the staff was very well trained.

The kid's activities and pool all made this an incredible time.

The food is a bit so-so... but I enjoyed all the breakfast buffet options.

Very worth the price and drive from Lima!

Other than that, the resort is great! Nice facilities, great spacious rooms, stunning views, and good food (although some inconsistencies take place). Staff throughout the resort are very friendly and sweet (everyone from bellboys to housekeeping was lovely).

Putting 4 starts for service, as we wished that the experience of checkin and checkout would be in line with the friendliness and professionalism of other staff at the resort. Gentleman that did our check-in was measuring us up and repeated some staple phrases with no enthusiasm or welcoming spirit whatsoever. Then, in a very bizarre, unclassy manner, he was trying to convince us to take the breakfast option at the reception (as it costs 7 bucks less than at the restaurant itself). When i politely declined, he kept repeating that it's a great deal that i should make use of now... The whole process really left a bitter aftertaste...

The checkout took 45 minutes of waiting. Only one guy at the reception and 5 people/groups waiting for checkin and checkout. In that time, no one came up to ask if they could help or tried to manage the situation (e.g. I could of have a drink at the bar while waiting and be called up later, but not).

Also, it was a bit disappointing that noone at kids corner spoke English. We could not then use their services as they could not understand us nor our needs.

So our trip to Machu Picchu was canceled due to the protest. So our friends recommended we go to Paracas. And this place hit it out of the park. A true 5 star hotel. That's why I'm giving it 5 stars. The hotel service was top notch. The rooms were top notch. The amenities were top notch. The food was top notch.(Thank you Antonio for your great service and friendly demeanor during our dinners.)

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in a lovely ocean front suite, and loved every minute of it. The bar makes great passionfruit chilcanos and espresso martinis, pool was relaxing, and the restaurants were delicious, especially Chalana. All members off staff were exceptionally friendly, and housekeeping was great. As it was our anniversary, they gave us complimentary gourmet chocolates and champagne. A lovely hotel to come back to after getting engaged. We will definitely be back.

Stunning hotel. Rooms were incredible, staff were helpful and friendly, and the pools are excellent. The hotel is right on the water and was so nice. My only regret was not staying longer.

Amazing food to go along with fantastic service. The rooms are spacious and well looked after. This place is 110% in my books.

This place is a true five star resort. The landscaping is mature and beautiful, the rooms and dining are at the highest standards, and the facilities are constantly maintained and updated.

I wish you were allowed more than the people in a room, but the beautiful breakfast, bicycles, kayaks, paddle bards, catamaran, hammocks, pools, playgrounds etc make a wonderful place to spend a weekend away from lima or a stopping point for tourists.

My short stay here was perfect. For a two day break following my wedding. The hotel was amazing a literal paradise. My wife was extremely impressed. The staff were aware of our wedding as I had informed them before and they had left champagne and chocolate in our room at no extra cost! The hotel concierge was aware of the wedding also even gave us dessert to try on the house! The food at the Italian restaurant was also exceptional the very tasty pizza and nice pasta. The service at breakfast was also exceptional the waiter at breakfast attending to all our needs and even fetched us a box full of cakes at our request. I would love to stop here again

Loved staying at Hotel Paracas. We were here for 5 nights. The staff is extremely kind, supportive and very good at their job. Food was amazing. Loved their Pisco Sours.
Every meal, breakfast lunch and dinner was an incredible dining experience. Wonderful comfortable rooms and pools are clean and relaxing. We had spa treatments which were very good as well. Would stay here again and again!

Amazing, beautiful hotel in a very remote location.

Great Resort in the middle of an area where there is not much to do outside of the property. So if you are staying in Paracas pick a place with enough activities on the grounds. We ventured out and the prices of drinks and food were pretty similar. I wouldn't guarantee your safety at night. Lima and Cusco in contrast felt safe everywhere at all times unless you went into certain areas. They upgraded our room and it was probably the biggest Suite I've ever had. Super clean, great comfy bed and a lot of extras. They included breakfast for 2 and only charged $10 us dollars each for the kids. The breakfast was more than you could want. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We felt the service was slow, but we're from NY. The kids club was free and went from 10am til 6pm and again from 7pm movie time until the movie ends. The gym was free and adequate for cardio or resistance training. Filtered water is free in the gym and other areas. Complimentary bottles of water in the room were restocked daily. 2 large heated pools. 3 restaurants, and only the Italian disappointed, but again, I'm from NY. The food was very good overall and price wise most things were about half of what I'd pay in a average restaurant in NY. Dial 0 from your room 24hrs and you can request anything to eat drink, sheets, first aid when my wife cut her foot. Someone shows up in less than 5 minutes and you never have to call twice. I appreciated that level of service. The grounds are beautiful, really not much to complain about. We paid $ 196 us dollars per night.

I stayed here for 6 nights, and had such an amazing experience. The rooms are very big, and are cleaned every day. The pool is lovely, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were great, and it was very good value for money. If I am in Paracas again, I would definitely stay here!

Beautiful hotel with a lot of things for kids of all ages. The beach is quite nice but the sea smells bad so I suspect nobody swims — fortunately there are two heated pools. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated (all with a balcony or terrace). Two criticisms: we did not particularly like the food, and service at the pool was incredibly slow due to understaffing

It was a great experience with my family. The hotel, in special the bar lounge was very welcoming and charming. Amazing place, food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations (a special thanks to Pierre and Jenny).

We stayed in this hotel to have a relaxing few days at the end of a very busy tour of Peru. The hotel was fabulous. Members of staff were consistently friendly and helpful across the board, from reception to Housekeeping to the security team. Restaurant staff were amazing and the food was excellent, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Looking at some of the other reviews, I noticed a comment that some of the staff lacked proficiency in English, this isn't what we found and as the grasp of English was more than adequate depending on job role, reception and waiting staff were fluent, ground staff basic but what do you expect this is Peru. Get a translator app on your phone, or stay in your own country. We definitely would love to come back to this hotel and stay for longer. Fabulous in every respect.

Incredible spot to visit Hotel Paracas - and the only option at the entrance to the park. Wonderful staff, great dinning options (one ala carte - the other buffet) and the rooms are perfect for a quick visit to the ruins. In short - exceeded all expectations!

Luxury at its best. Beautiful resort with lots of choices of food and drinks. They offer tours of Ballestas island from the resort itself which was nice. Tour leaves from dock near to restaurant on pier.
