Ordered a dinner for 23 soccer players and went earlier to check quality. The food was great, we had trout, Milanese, some homemade spicy sauces and macerados (home made spicy spirits). We met the owner, Pablo, and his wife and had a great time on their second floor terrace with a view over the valley. Most all the food is local, fresh and super delicious!!! Great for a large group, or even for single traveler!

Delicious food! The ladies who run this restaurant are very friendly and grateful to me every time I eat here. I order the fried trout and it was delicious. The fried potatoes that come with it are especially good 😋 usually in Peru i have found that the fried potatoes are soggy and not very good, but at Don Maximo they are crispy and delicious!! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
