This is luxurious no doubt about it. From the pristine views to the immaculate service. Oswaldo, Danny, and Luca were lovely and so accommodating. It's an all-inclusive, one-of-a-kind experience that has a reflective pricetag. This is not for the budget traveler, but if you want to enjoy amazing views and accommodations on a remote island on Lake Titicaca and you have the money, then stay here. The food was simoly amazing and worthy of any 5 star restaurant we've been to.

Perfect relaxing, yet instructive, stay at the Amantica lodge. Such a warm welcome by the team, gorgeous house, delicious fresh food and such a beautiful Island. I would definitely go back and highly recommend for a perfect trip at the lake.

Total and complete luxury. If you're going to treat yo-self while on Lake Titicaca, it best be here. The service to the actual place is nothing short of spectacular and decadent. Then if you layer on the food...we'll, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven.

Don't do it. Stole my $3200. Prepaid months in advance, noticed that the room was still available on days we booked it. Tried contacting them and won't answer emails or phone. Total rip off and scam.

SCAM!!! I booked directly with a deposit over 4 months in advance only to be contacted 2 months later there was a “misunderstanding” and they allowed someone else to book over me claiming they didn’t know I paid. Alternative offered was staying somewhere near Ecuador on the other side of the country! Beware as of right now they have not honored my original reservations or refunded me my money!!!

UPDATE: 24 hours later Management indicated oversight was my fault for not letting them know I was sent an email confirming I made a deposit payment. Still awaiting refund.

UPDATE: 48 hours later, still awaiting refund. Management’s claim is they are only able to refund me now several days later AFTER I PROVIDE ALL OF MY PERSONAL BANKING INFORMATION and make myself further vulnerable to this scam. I’ve provided 4 alternative refund methods hours ago and still am left stranded with no money.

UPDATE: Approaching 96 hours and no communications in over a day. Still no refund.

UPDATE: 8 days later. STILL NO REFUND. With the minimal contact (their management referenced their email server doesn’t work well) we finally agreed to PayPal as refund method (2 days ago). Today’s nonsense was that my info was just now provided to their finance (probably the same person) and THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME A REFUND FEE FOR THEIR MISTAKES!!! That’s on top of the interest I’ve lost on holding on to my money and the foreign transaction fee I’ll have to pay PayPal.

UPDATE: 2 weeks later and still no refund. These days I don’t doubt being amazed by things, but sure as heck seem like an elaborate SCAM.

UPDATE: Quickly approaching a month, still no refund.

UPDATE: Etica Peru I am still awaiting my PayPal payment. Ami Dulude promised me this was not a scam, yet Amantica Lodge and the “Etica Experience” took my money intended for a reservation deposit and left me with nothing.

Never could get there. People in Uros extorse us and we are lucky to reach Puno at least (4 stops with raise in price...). Sorry to didnt meet our reservation. I suggest you to answer to multiple phone call in those cases.
